Overview:
This is our FIRST Pedal for Pups FUNdraising bike event. This bike event supports the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter. Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of stray, lost and unwanted dogs by offering a safe, welcoming facility, providing care and enrichment, and finding a home best suited for each animal. We provide kennel services to 24 of the 26 towns in Franklin county.
Routes:
Choose from an easy riding 7.28 mile or a 30ish Mile loop. The 7.28 mile ride is a primarily flat ride on the Canalside railtrail. The trail rides over the Connecticut River and along scenic views. The 30ish mile loop will be 27.8 miles and will be a little bit more challenging. It will reward riders with some hill climbs with great views of the Connecticut river valley.
100% of rider donations will be used for shelter care and custody of our animals. Fundraising is not required to register but encouraged.
This is a can't miss bike ride FUNdraising event for our Shelter. We love bikes and love animals.
