    Get ready to run, walk, and color the Merrimack College campus with care as we raise funds and awareness for The Kyle Johnson Foundation. This 5k color run through campus is a celebration of community and connection around mental health.

    From the Merrimack College Office of Wellness Education, Office of Student Involvement, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and Fitness & Recreation.

    KyleCares is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting open and honest communication about the mental health challenges experienced by teens and young adults in today’s society, aiming to eliminate student self-harm and suicide by creating school environments where students and their caregivers have the confidence and support to seek help without shame or hesitation.     KyleCares helps high schools and colleges in New England support student mental health by:

    • Connecting schools with mental health resources and service providers

    • Facilitating long-term, comprehensive strategies to address student mental health

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

    Hit the Street for Little Feet supports the students at Manchester Memorial School through enrichment programs sponsored by the PTO. The 5k race course starts and ends at Manchester Memorial School and winds through parts of Manchester for a mostly flat course. The race has brought seasoned runners to lead the field and is rounded out by some of Memorial School's wonderful students, and by the looks of it, future cross-country runners.

    All runners registered by three weeks prior to the race will be guaranteed a t-shirt in their size.

    The 10th annual Jamaco River Run and Post-Race celebration will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026. This is a fun, family-friendly day complete with a Kid's Fun Run, a USATF certified & sanctioned 5K road race, and a post-race event with music, a craft beer tent, burgers and dogs, activities for the kids, award ceremony and an amazing prize raffle. Registration & Bib Pickup will begin at 8am at Waterhouse Field (74 E. Main St, Merrimac, MA). Free parking is available on site. The Kids Fun Run kicks off at 9am followed by the 5K walk/run at 10am. The first 200 registrants receive a custom commemorative t-shirt, and a free beer (21+).

    We are excited for 2026 to be our biggest turnout yet, and we once again look forward to giving back to our local community! Thank you for your support!

    The Winner's Circle Running Club hosts the 2026 Santa's Toy Trot on Sunday 12/13/2026 beginning at 10:00 A.M.. Participants have the option to run 2,4 or 6 miles. The race starts at the Sweetsir School in Merrimac, MA. Participants run a 2-mile loop that starts and finishes at the school. The two mile loop allows runners to decide whether or not they want to stop or keep on going to complete 4 or 6 miles. Strategy is key!!! The run is chipped timed with Male/Female overall awards in each distance followed by age group awards (10 year age group). Starting at age 60, age groups are 5 year age groups until 90+!!!, and prizes will be awarded two deep. Prior to the actual race children, 10 and under, are welcome to participate in a fun run around the elementary school led by a Winner's Circle Running Club Member, free of charge. A portion of the proceeds supports the Merrimac Holiday Helper Program, a program that supports Merrimac Families through the holidays. A giveway, yet to be

    determined, will be provided to the first 200 Registrants!!! New England weather can be hard to predict however, the race will be held regardless of the weather unless the roads are closed by the police. Race entry fees are non-refundable. For more information, email [email protected].

    Every participant is asked to don your most outrageous Ugly Christmas Sweater at the Santa’s Toy Trot on Sunday December 13th, 2026 to keep the holiday spirit alive. This spirited race is perfect for participants of all ages and abilities, combining the joy of the season with a good cause. The all-paved flat surfaces, and the charming streets of Merrimac make it perfect for families, pets and stroller friendly. Participants can run a single loop (2 miles), double loop or triple loop for your chance to win an age group award. Lace up your running shoes and enjoy the FUN!!!
