The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Held annually on the first weekend in
August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. The PMC has 14 different route combinations, ranging from 25 to 177 miles, for riders to choose from.
Riders can choose from three locations:

Babson College: 231 Forest Street, Wellesley, MA 02457
Massachusetts Maritime Academy: 101 Academy Dr, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532
Riders may ride on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. On Saturday, riders start in either Wellesley or Worcester and finish in Bourne. On Sunday, riders may start in Bourne or Wellesley; finish lines are in Provincetown and Wellesley.
Cost of event varies by route ($125 - $275).

Ride for the Boston Bruins Foundation's Pan Mass Challenge team this summer! The PMC's mission is to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of every
rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber. The PMC offers 14 fully supported routes - from 25 to 186 miles - with different levels of cycling ability, fundraising capacity and logistics. As part of the Boston Bruins Foundation's PMC team, you will get special Bruins-themed PMC swag, exclusive fundraising help, bussing to the start line, and the support of our team members throughout the whole PMC weekend. The Pan Mass Challenge 2025 will take place August 1 & 2, 2026.

$35 ages 12 and older, $25 ages 11 and under. Entry fee includes a race t-shirt and personalized bib (for entries prior to July 20).

A bus will provide transport from Vineyard Haven to Chilmark for runners taking the 8:15 am ferry from Woods Hole arriving in Vineyard Haven at 9:00 am.

David’s Old Silver Swim is an annual open ocean swim along the beautiful shoreline of Old Silver Beach, in North Falmouth, Cape Cod. Join us in the clear waters of Buzzards Bay for our 16th annual
charity swim. Choose either a 2-loop, 1-mile swim; a 1-loop, 0.5-mile swim; or a non-competitive 1-loop 0.5 mile fun swim. For accurate race results, each swimmer will be provided with chip timing technology.
This event honors the memory of David Garber, who passed away in October, 2023 after living with ALS for 14 years. His spirit, friendship, determination and love was an inspiration to countless people who got to know him, from near and far.
Compassionate Care ALS Founder and Executive Director, Ron Hoffman, shared a profound and enduring friendship with David. Throughout his ALS journey, David also cultivated an extraordinary and deeply meaningful relationship with the organization. CCALS is honored to continue David’s legacy through this remarkable event.
