🗺️ Mark your calendar for the Ironman 70.3 Louisville, a must-attend event in the world of triathlons in the United States.
Join us on Tuesday, August 11th for this fun 5k. The race starts at 6:30 p.m. near the Iroquois Amphitheater. We recommend getting there early to allow plenty of time for parking and check-in. This family friendly community event brought to you by the Iroquois Hill Runners provides the perfect opportunity to come out and attempt your first 5K or put your yourself to the test and break a PR. The rolling course around the base of Iroquois Park is full of ample beauty to enjoy while avoiding the hustle and bustle of traffic.
This is a DONATION based entry event!
Please bring an unopened toy or monetary donation for Toys for Tots as your registration fee. After the run, stay to see if your poker hand is a big winner. Plus many door prizes!
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be on-site prior to the race start. We will be setup about 5 PM to Check-in participants and assists with race day registrations. We do ask that if at all possible, please register early or on your phone to save time in line for race day registration.
Parking
Iroquois Park has ample parking at the amphitheater and playground to accommodate everyone. PLEASE DO NOT park on the grass.
Course Description
Starting near the Iroquois Park Amphitheater the race rides the rolling hills at the base of Iroquois Park finishing next to the Amphitheater parking lot.
Stay Hydrated & Stay Safe
Summer weather can get a bit warm in Louisville. Be sure to hydrate well before, during and after the race. We will have bottled water available at the finish line.

The Wolfman Race is the third in a series of trail runs through Louisville's beautiful parks. This is a seven mile run through the trails of Iroquois Park. We'll start near the amphitheater winding through Iroquois Park.
Wolfman / Dogman / Upright Walking Canid Cryptids while there are may names for these beasts, Kentucky has its fair share of reports and stories. The most well known is likely the Beast of LBL (Land Between the Lakes). Closer to Louisville we have the Beast of Bullitt County. Reports of sightings of these beasts come from across the state. Many describe the beast as around 7 Ft tall, with dog/werewolf type features, walking upright through the shadows. Some suggest this cryptid has roots to Shawnee shaman.

Each race will have awards for Overall Male / Female / Non-Binary Winners.
You will want to complete 3 of the 4 races either In-person or Virtually to earn your Cryptid Series Survivor Medal and Shirt!

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be on-site near pavilion prior to race start. Please plan to pick-up your race packet with enough time to allow for pinning your bib before race start.
T-Shirts
Shirts for this series are an optional add-on. This keeps the cost of the race reasonable for families. We will have a limited number of shirts available for sale on race day. If you know you want a shirt, please pre-order during registration.
Parking--ARRIVE EARLY & CARPOOL
We ask that you plan to arrive early for parking. Carpool as much as possible. We want to be respectful of the parks so we are able to have many more great events in the future. Carpooling is preferred to make space for everyone planning to participate. If you are planning to run with a friend, we encourage carpooling.
Water/Snacks
This event is CUPLESS. Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. Bottled Water will be available in limited supply. Water and pre packaged snacks will be available post race.

And if you complete the 5K course, there will be a complimentary glass of wine waiting for you at the finish line.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. All participants registered for the GORUCK division will earn this year's exclusive TMF GORUCK patch. Learn more about GORUCK here.
