Awards
The 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon are chip-timed and award the top 3 men and top 3 women in each of three categories per distance:
Overall — fastest 3 men and 3 women
Under 18 — fastest 3 boys and 3 girls under 18
40 & Over — fastest 3 men and 3 women aged 40 and up
Win more than one and you keep more than one — an Under-18 runner who also places in the Overall keeps both medals. Up to 18 award medals per distance, all hand-finished with the Malad Valley Marathon mark.
The 1 Mile Fun Run is an untimed community lap. Run with the kids, run with your dog, run in a costume — no chip, no bib, no clock. Show up and run.
Travel & lodging
Malad City sits 9 miles north of the Idaho/Utah border on I-15, 90 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and 75 minutes from Pocatello. The Malad Motel and Village Inn Motel offer rooms in town; nearby Tremonton, UT has additional chain hotels 30 minutes south.
Weather
Race morning in the Malad Valley typically sees lows in the low-40s°F at sunrise (~7:00 AM), still in the mid-40s°F at the 8:00 AM gun, climbing into the 60s°F through mid-morning and afternoon highs in the low-70s°F. Bring a throwaway layer for the start; the shorter distances finish before the day really warms up, the longer distances will want a hat and sunscreen by the back half.
NOTE: At registration you will be asked if you want to donate to our chosen charity, Common Ground Outdoor Adventures. They are a very worthy charity organization that provide adaptive outdoor experiences for people who normally would not have access to the great outdoors. Your donation is optional, but highly appreciated, (and will be matched by our donation as well). THANKS!

Packet Pickup
With the Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival load in happening at the same time as the race we have moved the Start/Finish Line to the parking lot behind Sol Speak Yoga. We think this is the best way to create a safer environment for all participants. The course is basically the same, just starting a couple hundred yards north.
Please do NOT park in the lot behind Sol Speak Yoga. The lot is closed to anyone but festival vendors. And there will be quite a bit of traffic with the vendors setting up for the festival. Please be aware of vehicles unloading around you. There is plenty of parking on 100 North and in the parking lot across the street from Sol Speak Yoga.

Sub For Santa
We are also collecting donations for Sub For Santa at the Jolly Jog this year. The mission of the Cache County Sub for Santa program is to provide temporary assistance during the Christmas season to individuals and families residing in Cache County who are in need. The impact on each child they serve can be life changing, but the program moves beyond simply material goods, it also helps free up financial resources for families to avoid debt and/or focus on basics such as rent, food, and other needs that may be put to the side to afford Christmas for their family. With your help, they can continue to give.
You can donate right now here or when you register for the race.
The Jolly Jog 5K is in conjunction with the "The Center Street Holiday Festival".

Welcome, to the Inkom Last Man Standing 1.1
Inkom Last Man Standing 1.1! The Solomon's family property is home to Lavender Lane Lavender Farm, Leapknot Coffee Roasters, and the Inkom Last Man Standing 1.1The 1.1 mile loop was carved into existence by our race inspiration, Nate Solomon. His morning walk/runs have taken place on this trail every morning, along with a pit stop at the top to talk to God at sunrise. During a conversation with his brother in law, they talked about the MidState Mile in Tennessee, hosted by the Jones family. A last man standing race, done on a 1.1 mile loop. Ironically enough, the loop Nate takes every morning is 1.1 mile long. Nate decided to turn his morning routine into something more, share it with others, and throw some competition in there too! The Inkom Last Man Standing 1.1. was born. The 1.1 mile loop has an elevation gain of 240 ft. every loop. There are rolling hills, challenging climbs and descents. And views that will will take your breath away if the trail doesn't. Sounds easy, right? It's just one mile....
How It Works...
Runners have 20 minutes to complete each 1.1 mile loop. The clock restarts every 20 minutes: 8:00, 8:20, 8:40, and so forth. If you do not make it back to the corral within the 20 minutes, you are out. No exceptions. The clock / loops continue until there is only one runner left... The Last Man Standing.
What's Next...
So, the next step for you. Complete your registration, and start training! You can check out some photos, videos and read a little more about our race at www.inkomlastmanstanding.com
Event's current local time: 2:14 AM MT
The Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon is held at Bear Lake State Park (Idaho) on the Idaho side and East side of Bear Lake. Bear Lake is often called the Caribbean of the Rockies due to its incredibly blue water set in high in the mountains. This race has four distances.
Half 70 1/3 Distance Long - Swim 1.2 Miles, Bike 56 Miles, Run 13.1 Miles
Olympic Distance Intermediate - Swim 1500 Meters, Bike 24.8 Miles, Run 6.2 Miles
Sprint Distance Short - Swim 750 Meters, Bike 12.4 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles
(Full 140 2/3 Distance is not renewed for 2026. This distance causes us to have an extremely long day finishing the last racer around Midnight. We have to start as early as 7AM and this causes issues with set up and the sun only rises around 6:45AM. After 8 years of trying to grow this distance we have decided to not renew it for all the stress and lack of participation with around 30 to 40 racers. We are sorry it is not back)
Join us for another year of the Cirque Series at Alta. 7.1 miles featuring 2,545' vert.
