Sisters By Choice (SBC) will hold our 22nd Annual Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk fundraising event. You will have the
option of participating in person or virtually. In person participation will be at Piedmont Park on Saturday, July 18th starting at 8am. Virtual participation can be conduct at YOUR own location between July 17th and July 19th. 100% of the proceeds from the event will still go towards the operational cost of Sisters By Choice Mobile Breast Clinic.
Sisters By Choice has been on the forefront of addressing disparity surrounding breast cancer. Each year, we provide at least 1,000 free breast health services that include mammograms and breast exams to underserved and underinsured women and men in Metro Atlanta.

All proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk help the operational costs of the Sisters By Choice’s Mobile Breast Clinic. The full service breast clinic travels throughout Metro Atlanta to provide women and men who are uninsured, under-insured and medically under-served FREE access to quality breast care. The mobile breast clinic is a state-of-the art facility unlike anything else in Georgia.

Our program helps rebuild stability by providing a loving and welcoming environment, spiritual growth opportunities, community connections, and life skills training to support the journey to housing independence.
We raised $50,000 last year for Love Your Story! It is amazing to see the community come together to support a great cause.

In 2026, the Riverwalk Run Series proudly celebrates America's 250th birthday alongside the states of Georgia and Tennessee! As
America’s only two-state 5K series, our three-event lineup invites participants to experience three seasons in the geographic and cultural heart of Appalachia.
Join the excitement of this one-of-a-kind series, which includes the Trout Trot 5K every spring, Walk the Line 5K every summer, and the Bigfoot Boogie 5K every fall, with a coveted CHALLENGE ITEM awarded to participants who complete all three.
Walk the Line 5K has always been a rockin’ summer celebration inspired by Johnny Cash’s “I Walk the Line.” This year, we’re turning up the fun with a Christmas-in-July twist! Expect holiday music, festive décor, and cheerful vibes as participants jingle all the way through McCaysville and Copperhill.
Participants will enjoy a scenic 3.1-mile course (with just one hill) that crosses the state line twice between McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN.
