The starting line is at the surface parking lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub.
Free parking is available in the parking garage at Halcyon adjacent to the Village Green behind the CMX CineBistro, at the Big Creek Greenway Halcyon Trailhead parking lot, in available lots across Ronald Reagan Blvd along McFarland Parkway, and across McFarland Parkway along Bluegrass Valley Parkway.

Join us at the 7th Run the World with ICSAtlanta 5K & Fun Run to support our school, connect with fellow students and the community, and promote health and fitness. This event will take place rain or shine!
The International Charter School of Atlanta (ICSAtlanta) is the premier Metro Atlanta tuition-free charter school open to all Georgia students. With a focus on multiculturalism and inquiry-based learning, students have the ability to study French, German, Mandarin, or Spanish. ICSAtlanta, an IB World School, follows International Baccalaureate principles and educates students to become open-minded, principled global citizens. What is Good Samaritan? Good Samaritan is a volunteer organization based in Forsyth County. Our mission is to help families and individuals in our local community who need immediate assistance to get through dire circumstances. We provide short-term financial assistance and provide referrals for longer-term counseling and other services. All funds we raise go directly to help those in need. We do not maintain offices or other administrative overhead, such as a Website or Social Media. This ensures that every dollar we raise goes directly to Forsyth County residents in need. Start your Independence Day off with our 5k, 10k, or 1k Fun Run! Join us for our Freedom Run on July 4th race at Halcyon! This is a family-friendly event and all of our events are walker-friendly! Virtual options are also available.
We have added a No Shirt/No Medal option for the 5K and 10K events at a reduced cost. Those who sign up for this reduced-price event will NOT receive a shirt or finisher medal. This option is available for those who want to race in person but missed the opportunity to sign up for this event earlier. Participants who qualify WILL BE eligible to receive overall or age group awards.
Race Benefactor: One hundred percent of the donations made through this website will go directly to Ainsley’s Angels of America in North Georgia. Ansley's Angels pair able-bodied runners and walkers to push Special Needs kids and adults in races from 5Ks to Marathons. Your donation helps us get the equipment and supplies we need so families can participate at no cost.
