2 fun run events in North Port, Florida

Join us for a TIMED pre holiday family 5K to support the North Port Youth Soccer Club with a fun festival to follow.

May. 9 2026 7:30am, $25 all ages, increases as time gets closer,

Lace up your shoes and hit the pavement in support of local youth soccer!

Bring the whole family and challenge yourself - whether you're aiming for a

personal best or just out for some active fun, all are welcome!

1 Mile Fun Run/Walkers will follow the 5K Runners as they head out. The walk will use the same course but turn around over the Bridge and walk back to the finish line. Enjoy the day and help support the Fusion Soccer.

7:30am May 9th Location North Port City Center

IN PERSON awards will also be presented to the 5k runners immediately following the race as follows:

10yr age brackets

<19, 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70+

Soccer themed Awards to the Top Youth Male/Female Finishers in the following groups:) >9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-16

Water will be provided for runners at the table mid-run and Post race, snacks TBD

Race shirt guaranteed with registration before Nov 1st.

All Participants receive entry to the activities at Fusion Fest. Located at the North Port City Green from 10am to 2pm. A same day family themed event including Games, Music, Vendors, Food and Family FUN!

Come join Zoomers for a SUMMER FUN GOOD TIME as we host our 2nd Annual Kids Summer Run Series Presented by Southern Oxygen & Welding Supply in Downtown Wellen Park. Kids ages 1-16 are invited to run one mile each Tuesday in June, starting June 3rd, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the last run on June 24th. Each week the kids can challenge themselves to run faster than the previous week, have fun with their parents or siblings & meet new friends. Refreshments will be provided after the run.

There is a one-time registration fee per child. That includes all four runs and a t-shirt. June 1st is the deadline for shirts. NO extra shirts will be ordered. Shirts will be given on the night of the last run for those that registered before the deadline.

Each week, collect a fun new Summer swag item. Those items will be given to each runner. The final week we will have a color FUN run mile for the kids to end the series. We are looking forward to spending this Summer with your kids and show them just how fun running can be!
