Our scenic course showcases Groveland's beautiful hills along Wilson Lake Parkway, with closed roads thanks to the incredible support of Lake County, the City of Groveland, and the Groveland Police Department. For those tackling the 10K, a portion of the course includes hard-packed off-road terrain, which will remain open to cars but will be clearly marked for your safety.

All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage. All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy. If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks for everything you have in your life. To many, it's also about giving back. We will conduct a collection of non perishables during packet pickup and race day that will be delivered to the local non profit the FAITH Neighborhood Center to help feed local families during the Christmas Holiday. In addition, donations made will also benefit The Neighborhood Center of South Lake.

TEAM / FAMILY DISCOUNTS: Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our group pricing when 4 or more members register under the same team name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each registration. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the $5 discount at checkout.
STROLLER AND DOG RESTRICTIONS: For safety reasons NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event, so leave your turkey home🦃 Service dogs will be allowed and we ask that you please line up at the end of the pack. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course during the event. Please help us execute a safe race for everyone and leave your pooch and wheels off the course. Strollers please line up at the back of the pack.

Each year, runners and walkers of all ages come together to kick off the holiday season while supporting the town that graciously hosts us.
As the grand finale of the FloDash race season, the Reindeer Dash is a meaningful way to close out the year — surrounded by cheering spectators, festive spirit, and familiar faces who return year after year. From first-timers to seasoned racers, participants love the welcoming atmosphere, well-marked course, and the joy of finishing strong alongside friends and family.

All registered participants receive a time chipped race bib, jingle bells for their shoes, a candy cane, custom high quality Santa Hoodie Shirt (register early to guarantee your size), finish line medal, post race hot cocoa if it's cold to warm you up and a free draft beer or soft drink ticket from our finish line sponsor JB Boondocks! A portion of the proceeds from from these events helps support FFA and Cheerleading Team of Mount Dora High School, and Run 4 a Cause Foundation, a foundation that provides disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to play in local sports programs.

Event will be chip timed and scored with disposable chips attached to the back of the bib.
Course
This event offers 2 walk/run distances, 5k run/walk on Saturday and a single loop half marathon on Sunday. The half marathon is a USATF Certified Course.(#FL23043JK).The course will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The finish line will remain open until the last runner completes the race, and medals will be awarded to ALL finishers regardless of when they finish to all 5K & half marathon participants. All half marathon participants must be able to complete the half marathon under 3 hour 25 minutes.

Enter the costume contest to win fun prizes and giveaways! The contest judging will take place before the race start. Winners will be announced after the race and must be present to win. You must wear your costume during the entire event to be eligible for prizes.

The racecourse begins on the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake campus, includes the challenge of the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and ends back on the Lake-Sumter campus with green beer to celebrate your victory. This will be a fun event for the entire family. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and medal. * Runners will be timed with prizes awarded to the top three finishers in each race by gender. All proceeds from the Shamrock Shuffle benefit the LSSC Foundation, which supports scholarships and education at Lake-Sumter State College.

A 320 mile 3 stage ultra-distance triathlon journey around central Florida. Stage 1 consists of a 6.2 mile swim and 90 mile bike. Stage 2 consists of a 171.4 mile bike ride. Stage 3 is a 52.4 mile run. Each athlete is escorted by a support crew consisting of 2 or more people as they attempt this iconic event and achieve their dream of becoming an Ultraman Finisher.
