The 53rd Annual Imogene Pass Run scheduled for Saturday September 12, 2026. Registration will open on June 1st at 6am MDT, 1550 entries will be offered and we expect to sell out quickly. Please visit our website for race details before registering.The Telluride Mountain Run is a challenging and technical race in the San Juan Mountains above the beautiful historic mining town of Telluride, Colorado. With five challenging and technical routes, runners navigate old mining roads, singletrack and alpine tundra over mountain passes, exposed ridgelines, and high summits. TMR is extremely difficult with big elevation gain at altitudes above 13,000 ft. The focus of the race is the experience: the burn of high elevation, the striking colors of the San Juans, and the reward of finishing right where you started. You should know... there are sections of this course that are extremely technical, steep and loose. This is a TECHNICAL MOUNTAIN RACE, NOT A TRAIL RUN- participants will be running to altitudes of over 13,000ft on exposed ridgelines and steep, rocky summits. The trails are extremely rocky and at times there are no trails at all. There are many sections of this course that will be exposed to falls, potential rockfall and hazardous weather. There will be safety personnel along sections of the route monitoring these hazards but all participants should be responsible for their own safety. THIS IS NOT AN EVENT FOR BEGINNERS. EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

M2D is a beloved local ride beginning in Telluride, Ridgway, or Norwood and finishing in Gateway, Colorado. Whether participants choose to ride 100 or 70 miles, they will experience the full beauty and grandeur of the Colorado landscape, as it tracks the San Miguel River and transitions from high mountains to desert terrain. From alpine glow and aspen forests to sandstone cliffs and palisades, join this iconic ride in support of our San Miguel County communities.

What
We are a club for enthusiasts of orienteering, mountaineering, and endurance challenges. We're organized as a Colorado 403(c) non-profit. Though our events are generally located in Western Colorado, we expect to also draw membership from neighboring regions as well as seasonal visitors. We specialize in unusual event formats! We plan to hold club training and practice sessions, as well as standard runs, climbs, and orienteering meets now and then, geared especially for novices and students.
Membership Benefits
Some of our free events will be restricted to club members for liability reasons. In addition, club members will receive a discount on any of our events that carry a fee. Once our club builds, we will also hold an annual gathering. Finally, members can vote on certain governance issues.
Cost
Fees are $15 for 2023. This should help cover some of our basic overhead, such as club insurance, regulatory and organizational fees, and the website.
Families
If you have several people in the same household that want to become members, you can pay one fee per household. Register the first person in your household the regular way. Email us for a coupon for your additional household members. You will need a separate ultrasignup login for each person you want to register as a member.

Service RequirementEach participant is required to complete (8) hours of volunteer service prior to August 15th.This can be volunteering at a trail ultramarathon or performing physical trail work. Crewing/pacing/coaching do not qualify.Opt Out Fee - Participants may opt out of the service requirement by making a $100 donation to Ouray Trail Group. This option is available at checkout.Entrants who have not submitted their service form or paid the opt-out fee by August 22 will forfeit their registration fee and not be permitted to participate in the event. Cash Purse / Drug TestingTop male 50 mile finisher will receive $500. Top female 50 mile finisher will receive $625. The payment of these cash awards will be subject to the results of urine and/or blood testing that will be administered to winners immediately after the event. Banned substances tested for will include (but not be limited to) steroids, testosterone, EPO, and THC. (Fear not, Colorado people. Only THC levels above the threshold of 150 ng/ml will trigger a positive result. Doping agencies chose that threshold so that out-of-competition use should not trigger a positive result. In other words, lay off the magic brownies prior to and during the event.) Cancellation and T-Shirt Policies OMTR will not refund entry fees. An entry fee for this year's race cannot be transferred to next year's race or to another runner. Race Description
This trail run will start at the beginning of Last Dollar Road by the Telluride Airport. Racers will make their way down Last Dollar Road to the Deep Creek Corral. At the corral the singletrack starts and racers will enter the Aspen-filled woods lining the deep creek trail on their journey back to the Town of Telluride. The course is approximately 13 miles long, mostly singletrack, and will end back in the town of Telluride.

Time Cutoff
The cut off for the finish time will be 5 hours. A sweeper will be coming through behind the last racers to help get everyone to the finish line. The finish will close by 3:30 pm.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds: If you cannot make the race and must cancel your registration, you are eligible for a 70% refund if you cancel 30 or more days before the race date. After this date, no refund can be provided. You must do this through Ultrasingup by going to your registration history, or via the "Edit" link on your receipt.Rollovers: If you wish to carry over your registration to the following year, you are eligible for an 80% discounted entry the upcoming year. You may do this up until the race date. If you wish to use this option, contact us at [email protected] and let us know you’d wish to rollover your registration to next year. Transfers:If you would wish to transfer your registration to someone else, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Bib Pick Up
Friday before raceday starting at 3 pm you will be able to pick your Bib up at the Jagged Edge Store in Telluride. Pack pick up will go from 3 pm - 6pm. There will also be a chance to pick up on Saturday am at the start line located at the Telluride airport starting at 9:30 am. The race will begin at 10:30 am. All racers need to check in before the race.
