This clinic will focus on beginermediate to intermediate skills and is for riders who already
have a solid grasp of the fundamental bike handling skills: neutral and ready position, bike-body separation, and controlled braking. We will keep the group small to allow for personalized feedback as we use the bike skills park at Red Rock Canyon Open Space to focus on:
Maintaining momentum in rough terrain
Safely rolling down small to medium ledges
Riding narrow bridges with confidence
Please check in by 5:45 to find your group. Skill clinics are only available for WMBA members and do require an additional $25 sign up fee. (Please note: Refunds will be issued if you cancel your reservation up to 2 days prior to the event. Within 2 days, no refund will be issued)
If this event has to be cancelled for any reason, all participants will be emailed and we will post the notification on Facebook by 4:30 p.m. Refunds will then be issued to all participants.

Beat the heat and treat yourself at the Popsicle 5K/10K/Half Marathon—a sweet celebration of summer miles and frozen rewards. Whether you’re racing the speedy 5K, cruising through the 10K, or going
the distance in the Half Marathon, this event is designed to be fun, festive, and refreshingly cool from start to finish.
We will be gathering at Cottonwood Creek Park in Colorado Springs, CO.
When you cross the finish line, your reward is waiting: a delicious, ice-cold popsicle to help you chill out and celebrate your accomplishment. Every finisher will also receive a custom Popsicle-themed finisher medal—bright, bold, and worthy of showing off.
Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in standard five-year age groups, beginning with 10 & Under. Whether you’re chasing a podium spot or just looking for a cool way to log some summer miles, the Popsicle 5K/10K/Half Marathon is the perfect blend of fun and fast.

While the event is professionally timed and features age-group competition, every rider can climb at their own pace — whether chasing a top finish in their category or crossing the Summit off their bucket list.
The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit will also serve as the 2026 Hill Climb State Championship under the Colorado Bicycle Racing Association. In age-group categories (excluding the E-Bike and Midway Challenge), the top three Colorado resident finishers will be recognized immediately following each respective Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit age-group podium presentation.
