Rocky Mountain Road Runners (RMRR) holds a monthly Trophy Series race in the Denver area. Our December race will be in Denver's Washington Park with a 4.5 mile course for all runners. Please plan to
arrive 30-45 minutes before race start to get your bib and complete registration.
The Trophy Series races use a handicap system of staggered starts, from slow to fast, spread over ~25 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to win. Members compete against others via the handicap system in an annual series.
Race Day Details
Time: 9 am start. Please show up 30-45 minutes early to get your bib and warm up!
Location: Washington Park, diagonal road, in Denver.
Course: the race starts/finishes along the diagonal road, and makes two counter-clockwise laps on the paved road inside Wash Park.
Parking: Park on the EAST side of the park near Mississippi and Franklin

Overview:
Run will sell-out QUICK! We will close off waves the moment they fill up. If waves are sold out, you can sign-up for the virtual run option or wait list.
This is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave.
All paces and ages (under 18 with guardian) are welcome - Run or Walk!
There's no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!
When you sign-up, we give you the support you need to help you achieve your goals and fitness. We also invite you to be part of our local run clubs that supports your fitness journey.
Timing:
Timing is Optional: You may track your time on an app (Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, etc) and submit your times with our easy form to be posted online. Or you can ask our coordinators to help keep track of your time.
No timing chips (This is a stress free run to support you in achieving your goals)!

The Resolute Runner 5K is the KICK OFF PARTY OF THE YEAR! It's time to be RESOLUTE, to retroactively earn your pumpkin pie and chocolate truffles, and to start the new year on the right foot,
literally!
The course starts at Johnny Roberts Memorial Park in Arvada, CO, and winds through the beautiful Ralston Creek Trail. It really is quite a scenic race! As you run, all of your fans will be able to see you from the start line, then walk less than 1/3 of a mile to see you at two different points before cheering on your finish. This is a very spectator friendly venue and a great way to kick off the New Year!

Join us for the 14th annual Polar Prowl at the Stenger Sports Complex in Arvada, CO! As the first Denver-area half marathon of the year, this event features 5K, 10K, and half marathon courses that
meander along the Van Bibber Creek Trail, offering breathtaking views of Arvada's open spaces and Table Mountain. Because the courses are relatively flat, it is the perfect opportunity to chase a personal record or secure a qualifying time for the BOLDERBoulder. We are proud to support Penguins International with this event, and we invite you to join our penguin costume contest. The layout is incredibly spectator-friendly, featuring a viewing area just a short walk from the venue where fans can cheer on half marathoners three times and 5K or 10K athletes once before they hit the finish line.

The Stories Trail Runs @ Cheyenne Mountain State Park
The Stories Trail Runs is a unique winter trail running adventure taking place in Colorado Springs,
CO, against the breathtaking backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain, and “America’s Mountain,” Pike’s Peak, with sweeping views of the Colorado Front Range below. This event features an amazing community atmosphere, made possible by our main staging area and aid station at the start and finish of each loop. The Stories timed events (15-hr and 6-hr) are unique in that, rather than repeating loops on the same 1-2 mile track, participants will enjoy multiple loops spread out through Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Timed events are also unique in that runners are challenged with running as many miles as they can or want within their allotted time. Our trail 10k, Half Marathon, and 20-Mile round out the weekend as traditional distance options where runners can still enjoy the communal aspect of HPRS while enjoying a fantastic trail race along select trails within the State Park.
