The Burro Buster 5k is a fun, family friendly, 5k in one of America's highest incorporated towns. Join us in Fairplay on the 4th of July on our run through town! The course lies inside of the town
limits and starts and finishes in front of the historic Hand Hotel & Emporium. Your terrain will include asphalt, dirt, rocks, stairs, and some hills. You will also enjoy great views, a river, historic buildings, lack of oxygen (9,953' above sea level!) and fun! There will be NO water station on course. Water will be available at the beginning and end of the race.
This event benefits the Town of Fairplay Scholarship Fund.

Escape to the mountains this summer for a long weekend of trail running, hiking, and connection in beautiful with a group of women who get it. We'll be based in a riverside home in Buena Vista,
Colorado—just steps from Main Street, local trails, and surrounded by the kind of mountain views that make you remember why you do this.
Each day, we'll head out for an adventure on the trails, with options ranging from 10–20 miles depending on your goals and how you're feeling. Some will run, some will hike, and many will do a mix — there's no "right" way to move through the mountains, and no pressure to perform. The highlight of the camp will be a group hike/run on Hope Pass or one of the 14ers in the Sawatch range (final itinerary based on the group and weather). We'll close out the weekend with a shorter shakeout run before heading home.
Off the trails, we'll share meals, relax by the river, and soak in the laid-back mountain town energy that makes Buena Vista so special. Expect good conversation, honest miles, and the kind of friendships that form when women push themselves somewhere beautiful together.
Think of it as part summer camp, part trail running getaway — a space to train hard, recover well, and leave feeling more like yourself than when you arrived.

The Human Potential Running Series Presents:
The Silverheels Trail Runs @ COMO ROUNDHOUSE
The Silverheels Trail Runs take place at an average elevation of over 10,000’, in one of the most visually
stunning areas of Colorado. The course features a mixture of single track trails and fire roads, with a few stretches of dirt road; it takes runners through high alpine and sub-alpine meadows loaded with wild flowers, with expansive views of the South Park Valley and beneath the towering "Decalibron" 14er's. You'll run through ghost towns, past abandoned mines, awe at the wildflowers in full bloom, and dance under the watchful eye of Silverheels Mountain herself and the ever stunning Milky Way Galaxy. Our 10-Mile and 18-Mile options are run on the gorgeous Gold Dust Trail traveling through massive aspen groves, over many high mountain creeks, through old mining encampments, and along a miners ditch hand dug by those in the late 1800s.
