Rules: CVC Rules of the Road apply, stay to the right side of roadway. Paris Valley is narrow, and we do not want any extra vehicles (teams, parents, etc) to drive it, only normal road traffic.. There may be follow vehicles if volunteered; they need to coordinate with organizer and fill out the MVR at the USAC.org site (at least 10 days prior) to be allowed under insurance, riders should always bring pump and spare. Feed zone (bottle hand-ups) east of Fwy in San Ardo, park only where indicated. Neutral feed available, will include Bottle Grab units. After finishing, check out with the officials after the line and get off the road as soon as possible.
Do not outrage the residents by using other than the school bathrooms and portable toilets. We had complaints at the Copper Valley race in May, and as a result, are having potential difficulty with the permitting agency for next year.
There is other traffic on the roadway including large farm vehicles; always be aware of it and be prepared to slow and/or maneuver; warn riders behind you of hazards.
