Join us for the 2nd Annual Riverpark 5k Summer Series! This is a run/walk event, with the course being located on a bike path and sidewalk. 5k event starts at 6:00pm each week, and Free Kids 1k is at 5:45pm. The starting and ending point is located at Windrow Park. Each race is limited to first 150 registrants!
T-Shirts will be for sale at the event, or online for $20 or FREE T-shirt by registering for at least 2 of the 3 races.
As this is a series, awards will be given to the top 3 in each age category at the conclusion of Week 3 (7/24) at Window Park.
Choose to participate with us for 1, 2, or all 3 weeks! Plus, there is a discount for registering for all 3 races (full series)! Each finisher in the Kids 1k races receives a finisher medal! 100% of the proceeds go towards Rio Mesa Cross Country and Track teams.

Check-in for bibs will be located in the park starting at 5:00pm each week.
Series Points for Riverpark 5k:
Age Group Points are given based on what place you get in your age group each week (please note age is based on your age on the last day of the series). If you don't place in the top 9 in your age group, you get 1 point for participating each week. Age groups are: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

The purse for the Men's Pro 1-2 and the Women's Pro 1-3 races is $8,000 if there are a minimum of 60 riders and if fewer the purse is reduced to $5,000.
Junior Men and Junior Women to start and race together but will be picked separately for race places, podiums and prizes.
Masters Races (restricted to cat 1-3 for men aged 35-54 and women 35-44: thereafter open to cat 1-4.
Masters 5 year age groups start together and scored separately for State Championships.

The San Clemente Ocean Festival utilizes a a "One Fee - All Events Entry". Participants pay one fee and are entitled to enter any of the events listed for that entry. Entry includes commemorative SCOF tee, SCOF swim cap and competitors kit.
