The 4th annual Anaheim Ducks 5K presented by Arrowhead Water is coming back to Great Park in Irvine on Sunday, February 8th! The race will start promptly at 8:00 AM.
The course will start right
outside of the Ducks practice facility - Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena - and proceed throughout and around the park.
This year's event will include appearances by Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing, a vendor village with family friendly games and activities, music by DJ JoJo, and much more. All proceeds will benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation's mission of producing positive change for children and families throughout Southern California by providing educational opportunities, broadening access to the sport of hockey and addressing the health and wellness needs of the community.
Both competitive and casual runners/walkers are welcome, and each participant will receive a race day t-shirt, finisher's medal, and souvenir runner's bib. Plus - attendees who register for the 'DUCKS 5K + Game Ticket!' option during registration will also receive (1) Terrace Level ticket to a Ducks home game at Honda Center!

PROCEEDS from this event to benefit the formation of Ware in the World Foundation. Proceeds will be going to Miss Pam's Ranch, a working ranch that teaches troubled youth to ride, do chores, build esteem, and set goals. Miss Pam RUNS her ranch from a wheelchair. We are still trying to raise funds to repair the travel chair we gifted her last year. Plus, many other projects. We are earning money to put on a Ware in The World 5k in Tanzania, Africa to inspire a village of youth to aspire in running.

Welcome back Donuteers! We are so excited to bring the Great Donut Run back in person with more donuts then ever before! If you haven't
registered yet then donut hesitate and sign up today! We've got an easy breezy 1 miler at 7:30 the 5k run/walk at 8:00am. Both races are open to all ages and abilities. Take all the time you need to finish. This is not a timed event. We've got yummy donut holes at the halfway point on the 5k to keep you carbed up along the way. We also have the Donut Double Dare if you want to run the 1 mile and 5k back to back! Double the fun Double the donuts! For all the kiddies looking to earn their own race bling we start their races at 9:15. We have several distances from 50 yards to half a mile, based on ages from zero (yes, under 1 year old! ) to 12 yrs old. It's never too early to start dashing for donuts! Whatever race you choose, you're donuts will be safely waiting for you! We've also got gorgeous big bling finishers medals that you'll love!
The race starts and finishes in the same location at Irvine Valley College. The course is walker and stroller friendly. It's all flat and fast and this is a non timed, family fun run. This is a great way for first timers to get out and enjoy a race without any pressure or timelines! Get your donut friendly gear on and win one of many costume awards! We can't wait to see you!

Race Registration: All registration will be handled online for the race. Please note the last day to register will be Friday, July 3rd by 12:00 p.m. No registrations will be accepted on the day of
the race or in person at the Woodbridge Community Center.
Calling all runners! Compete with your neighbors and friends in the annual 4th of July race. The races will start by the North Lake Gazebo on Barranca Parkway.
Check-in time for the 5K and 10K Runs is 6:30 a.m. The 5K and 10K Runs will begin at 7:15 a.m. The Kids Run will begin at approximately 8:15 a.m.
The entry fee for early registration 5K/10K participants is $45 per person, including an official race T-shirt, or $40 without a T-shirt, up until Sunday, June 14th.
The entry fee for all 5K/10K participants registering on Monday, June 15th through Friday, July 3rd at 12:00 p.m. is $60 per person, which includes an official race T-shirt, or $55 without a T-shirt.
The entry fee for the Kids Run is $20 per child, which includes a T-shirt, or $15 per child without the T-shirt, up until Friday, July 3rd at 12:00 p.m.
Please note: All registration is online only. There will be no in-person “cash” sign-up registrations prior to or on the day of the races.
Early registration participants (registration completed by Sunday, June 14th) may pick up their run bib numbers and T-shirts on the special pick-up day of Friday, July 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Woodbridge Community Center (31 Creek Road) to avoid long lines on the day of the race. EVERY PARTICIPANT MUST BRING AT LEAST 2 CAN GOODS OR $5 CASH donation FOR THE FOOD DRIVE . The South County Outreach is an amazing NONPROFIT that serves over 400 people and families a month, providing nourishing ingredients and food items to make full and complete meals. When people visit their Food Market, they are in control of the cart and what goes in it, just like in a local grocery store. Most needed items are: canned fruit, canned fish/meat, and jelly.
PICK your course! Do you want to end the race running through the wild river (2 1/2 feet deep) and getting SPLASHED by its fountains?! Sign up for SPLASH DASH. If you are a dry lander and just want to run around the park (avoiding the WET part) sign up for the DRY RUN. Both get separate sets of age division awards. The DRY RUN does 'cut' the course short, so we may weave you on a side loop at the end to make it a 3.1.

WILD RIVERS WATERPARK, 10000 Great Park Blvd Irvine, Ca, 92618
PARKING: WILD RIVERS will be charging $10 to park. Plan to carpool. Limited additional parking is available in Great Parks. You can also be dropped off in their drop off lane.
COURSE: Course runs around the perimeter of WILD RIVERS parking lot on a 2 loop course, then enters the park through the back employee parking area. It will weave through the entire water park and END in the 2 1/2 foot deep WILD RIVER to finish back at the START/FINISH ARCH. (DRY LAND option also. You must make this choice prior to the run and have a DRY LAND bib on)
The DUCKY DASH STARTS /FINISHES on the BRIDGE and runs THROUGH the kiddie pool wading area. Diaper Dash runs it it and splashes in, and back. 400 M is one lap through kiddie pool. 1/2 mile is 2 laps. All kids get towels and a finisher medal.
EARLY RACE PACKET PICK is Saturday, August 22 from 10am to 1 pm at Road Runner Sports, 24291 Avenida de La Carlota, Laguna Hills, Ca. 92653. This is Not mandatory. You may pick up for others.
You may also pick up bib and shirt or towel at race site on race day beginning at 6:30am.
Canned goods and donations will be accepted at pre packet pick up and on race day. .

1 Mile Turkey Dash: 7:30am Start. This division is a fun run/ walk and non timed event. This is great start for those who want a shorter distance to keep their whole tribe together. It’s and out and back course so you’ll see everyone both directions! If you skip ogot to skip out quick then come on out for this one and earn some fast bling with a fantastic medal for everyone who finishes. ALL ONE MILERS MUST WEAR ONLY the 1 Mile bib while running the 1 Mile. DO NOT WEAR the 5K BIB.
IRVINE/OC 5k Turkey TROT: 8:00am Start. This is open to all ages and takes place around the perimeter of the college campus. It's a speedy course that swings by citrus grove tree's and some pumpkin patches! it starts and finishes in the same spot so you won't miss seeing your friends somewhere along the way!
Turkey Feast Combo: 7:30am Start. This is for the those who like extra helpings at Thanksgiving! We love this challenge! Each participant will start at 7:30 with the 1 mile race. You'll need to complete the 1 mile in 30 minutes so you'll have time to line up for your second race, the 5k at 8am. You’ll receive 1 shirt and two medals if you complete both races! Rally up! You may pick up your 1 mile medal after your 5k race so you don't have to run with it!
Gobble Wobble Kids Event: These kids races offer shorter distances if they don't want to do the 5k.
9:15 A.M: Diaper Dash - 50 yards (3 and under)
9:20 A.M: Tot Trot - 100 yards (4 to 5 years old)
9:25 A.M: Youth Race -1/4 Mile (6 to 10 years old)
9:28 A.M: Youth Race - Half Mile (11 to 12 years old)
Adults, you may run along with your child.
Kid's Gobble Wobble Race Details
All participants receive a race bib, custom cast medal, event t-shirt, and slice of pie! 5k is chip timed and kid's runs are for fun. We will start lining the kids up at 9:05 per age group. All the kids races are on a out and back loop and start and end in the same spot. The course will be closed and lined with volunteers to direct all kids to the turnaround spot. They can turn early if they want with no penalty if they think it's too far. One adult per child can run with their participant and the parent does not have to register but will not receive the shirt, medal, bib or pie.
If you have a child that just wants to ride in a stroller with you on the 5k course, they can do so without registering. They will not receive a medal, bib, shirt or pie but they can share yours!
Awards
Professional Chip timing and results for all 5k participants. Age Division awards will be given 3 deep in the following age categories: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, *70-74, *75-79, *80 and over. Yes! We split the final divisions to celebrate our 70 and over rock star field! We're happy to celebrate this growing category and look forward to seeing everyone earn their race bling!
Costume Awards will be given for Best Dressed so come decked out and you may take home a prize! Win as an individual or a group (6 people max)!
Early Packet Pick Up: Optional
Packet Pick up will be held on Wednesday, November 25th from 12 pm to 4pm at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills.

Pick up your bib and shirt at packet pick up or on race morning at the race from 6:30am to 7:30am
One person can pick up for others. No confirmation required. Just know the last and first name they signed up under.
Walk up registration accepted at early packet pick and on race day morning.
Shirts and Shirts sizes are not guaranteed for race day late registration.
Race Day Pick Up:
You may pick up your race bib and t-shirt on race day from 6:15 am to 7:30 am. In the quad, in front of the performance arts theater. That's the big two story orange building on the Irvine Valley College campus.
Parking: Cost is $5. Entrance is off of Irvine Center and allowed on Jeffrey .Entrance closed on Irvine Center Drive at 7:55am. It's part of the course). Only the entrances on Jeffrey stay open during the run . If parking in the solar lot, you will not be able to leave the lot until 9am. You will need to exit off Lasar Way and wait until directed to cross the race course as stragglers will still be coming in.
YOU MUST purchase a PARKING PASS. PUT ON YOUR DASH. THIS CAN BE DONE ONLINE, AT PACKET PICK UP, OR b y buying at the PARKING PASS BOTH at registration on RACE MORNING. THE CAMPUS PD charge for every vehicle and look for the passes. ( This parking fee is required on entering and parking at any local college).
