This event supports NOT TODAY CANCER and their mission to find a CURE for devastating childhood cancers.
Despite childhood cancer rates being on the rise, a desperately small amount of US Federal Funding for Cancer Research goes to children.
When Mason was 9 years old he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His cancer was treated with chemotherapies that have been in use for decades, because there is a devastating lack of funding for new treatments with better outcomes!
For two years, Mason and his family used the slogan “Not Today Cancer'“ as their mantra and when he died from the disease, the journey continued and this local non-profit was founded in Mason's honor. Scientists are close to a cure to help children like Mason and you can help!
NOT TODAY CANCER
Packet Pick Up, where you can get your shirt and bib, on Saturday, the day before the race. Time and Location TBD.
If you are having someone else pick up your bib, shirt, and bag, they will need two things. A printed copy of your ID and a printed signed copy of the waiver. You can download and print the waiver here. No bibs will be given out without this. The lawyers and our insurance company require us to be strict on this, sorry for the inconvenience.
If you are unable to join us the day before, you can pick up your bib and shirt on race day in the festival area but get there early and be prepared to wait in line on race day.
Reminder: Please wear your bib on the front of your clothes so that your photos can be tagged and so we know you are with the event.

Running for a Cure
This event proudly supports Not Today Cancer and their mission to find a cure for childhood cancers.
Despite rising childhood cancer rates, only 4% of U.S. federal cancer research funding goes toward pediatric cancers.
When Mason was just 9 years old, he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His treatment relied on chemotherapy drugs that have been used for decades- a painful reminder of how underfunded pediatric cancer research remains.
For two years, Mason and his family lived by the mantra “Not Today, Cancer.” After Mason’s passing, that spirit inspired the creation of the Not Today Cancer Foundation, dedicated to advancing research and offering hope to families like his.
Scientists are closer than ever to finding a cure and your participation helps make that possible.
