See you November 1!

Can you run half-naked in the cold January air? While we certainly don't expect this of everyone, this "stripped down" format for the race was tied to its humble beginnings, and it has evolved and grown since then. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. All quarter and half marathon runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt! It is quite the accomplishment to complete a HALF MARATHON! This year, both the half and quarter marathons WILL BE CHIP TIMED! The half marathon course is certified and will count as an official time. AGE GROUP awards will be given for BOTH races (distributed by 10-year age group).
13.1 mile out and back course
Course closes at 11 a.m. Anyone on the course after this time is "on their own".
**A $3.00 discount for Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club members. Discount does not apply towards Fab Four Series Bundle price.
About
Lake Yahou was just opened up in May 2022 for recreational use. We are lucky enough to be the first trail race starting at the lake. If you ran our McClellan Madness race, then you are familiar with the other side of the mountain where we will have an aid station. The trails are comprised of (for the most part) non-technical, single-track dirt. Obviously, it’s nature, so there are rocks and roots. The trail is very runnable for new and seasoned trail runners with just a few spots that have rocks/boulders.Race location: 370 Lake Yahou Rd, Annsiton, AL 36205

Perks, Awards, Finish
Each finisher will receive a very cool, one of a kind hand painted finisher ROCK. If you drop to the lower distance during the race, you will not get a finisher rock. You won’t leave empty handed though; I’ll gladly give you one hell of a high five. Awards will be given out for the top three female finishers and top three male finishers for each distance. You will not be considered for a top award if you drop to a lower distance mid race. Finish line will have music, food and beverages. Come hang out and enjoy the party afterwards. You deserve it.Long sleeve shirts will be give to each registered runner who wants a shirt if you register before Sept 9th. If you register after September 9, there is a good chance you will not get a shirt. **If you do not choose a shirt size, you will not get a shirt.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be on race day at the start line from 7:00am to 7:50am.
Beat the Best
If you come in overall (female and male) and beat the best time from previous years in the distance you sign up for, then you will get a free entry to come back the next year.
Refunds, Deferrals and Transfers
I understand that injuries happen, things come up unexpected. I have lost a ton of money on races that I have signed up for that I couldn't run myself. From the moment runners start to register, the money is spent on permits, insurance, swag, shirts, and everything that goes into putting on a great race. Because of this, there are NO refunds. NO deferrals. If you want to transfer your registration to another runner, please contact me..
