Poseur Run Club gathered around the Labuan International Lawn Bowl Arena in June 2024, founded by Afiq, OG & Syazwan with a deliberate refusal to chase polish. The crew started with tired legs and last-minute plans, not grand ambitions. Around 40 runners now converge every Saturday or Sunday at morning for LSD sessions, their signature long slow distance work adapting to whoever shows up. The name itself provokes: while other groups curate Instagram moments, Poseur Run Club embraces wrong turns as inside jokes and empty pockets as no barrier to the post-run table. Authentic connection happens in moments of vulnerability, they believes, not polished performance. Members witness each other through strongest and weakest moments, creating bonds beyond pace zones. Post-run gatherings at local food stalls turn into extended family conversations, covering everything from split analysis to midnight life. This is community that serves runners, not metrics.
