Vittorio returned from Copenhagen with a question that would reshape running in Bergamo: what if runners gathered not just to chase kilometers, but to celebrate effort together over beers? He shared the idea mid-stride along the Venetian Walls with Marco and Mattia, and Bergamo Running was born in June 2015. The three founders rejected the hierarchy of traditional Italian athletic clubs, building instead something fluid and welcoming. Around twenty runners now gather every Monday at 19:30 in Trucca Park for "Better Mondays," exploring the city's dual landscape from Città Alta's steep cobblestones to the green paths below.
