Carrigaline & District Lions Club 35th Cycle Classic
We’re thrilled to announce that the 35th Carrigaline & District Lions Club Cycle Classic will take place on Saturday, 26th September 2026.
This year marks a very special milestone as we celebrate 35 years of this event. The 35th Cycle Classic is in aid of Marymount Hospice.
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or hopping on for your first-ever group cycle, there’s a place for you in this incredible community event. Every kilometre you conquer helps bring hope and support to those who need it most 💪

The cycle is a one-day event with distance options of 50KM and 100KM.

Starting and finishing at Carrigaline Lions Youth Centre

Starting time 9:30am (Check-in open from 8:30am)
This cycling event was founded in 1991 and has so far raised €770,000 for various charities.
Worthy beneficiaries include Marymount Hospice, Cork ARC Cancer Support House, Cork University Hospital, Childhood Cancer Ireland, Carrigaline Senior Citizens and the Lions Youth Centre Project which opened in 2015 on Church Road in Carrigaline.

100Km Route:
Via Ballygarvan, Fivemile Bridge, Innishannon, at bottom of Bandon by-pass turn left, take scenic Route to Kilbrittain, Loop Right via Inchy Bridge to Timoleague Food Stop, Ballinspittle to Garrettstown to Kinsale. Home via Belgooly, Ballyfeard, at Carrigaline take New by-pass to the Youth Centre.
50Km Route:
Via Ballygarvan, Fivemile Bridge, Turn left at Halfway roundabout for Kinsale, left for Dairygold Co-op, Food Stop & loo's across from Dairygold Co-op Kinsale. Home via Belgooly, Ballyfeard, at Carrigaline use New by-pass to Youth Centre.
