Join us for the inaugural Butterfly Run Montréal, hosted by the With Love From Michael Foundation, at the Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park!
Proceeds from this family-friendly fundraising event will benefit the With Love From Michael Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports families through the grief of pregnancy and infant loss, a reality faced by over 23,000 Quebec families every year.
The With Love, From Michael Foundation provides Memory Making Boxes and Miscarriage Care Kits to Montreal-area hospitals. This fundraiser will help the organization expand their reach, so to help even more families through the painful reality of baby loss. All proceeds from this event will fund in-hospital grief resources, memory boxes, miscarriage care kits for emergency rooms and clinics, and ongoing support programs for bereaved families offered for free by the With Love From Michael Foundation.
How to participate in this fundraiser: Register on the Butterfly Run Montréal’s Race Roster Website. You can register as an individual, create a team, or join an existing team. Choose your fundraising goal and fundraise in support of this event over the summer. On September 6, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, join us at the Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park where you can participate in the 5KM Memorial Walk, then stay to enjoy a fun, family atmosphere.
A virtual race is also offered for those who wish to participate remotely. Sign up for our virtual walk! Complete your 5KM walk anytime, anywhere between August 30th and September 6th, 2026. The virtual event allows you to participate at your own pace at the location of your choice.

Welcome to the Party!
The Paul Smiths Trail Running Festival is a loop-style endurance race with 6, 3, and 1 hour options. The goal is to run as many laps of the (approximately) 4 mile course as possible within the selected time constraint. Not sounding like a festival yet? There will also be live music, food, and other fun. Whether you’re looking for a gentle jog on beautiful trails or to push yourself to the limit (or maybe something in between) there is a place for you at the Paul Smiths Trail Running Festival!
The Course
4 miles of moderately rolling terrain. Parts of the course are on singletrack through the conifers, others are on wide former logging roads. You might even catch a glimpse of Whiteface Mountain, if you’re lucky!
Start Times
6 hours: 9am3 hours: 12pm1 hour: 2pmPacket pickup and check-in starts at 8am. You can also pick up your packet the day prior to the race at the VIC lodge from 9am-5pm.

Named after local plumber and cycling enthusiast, the Pat Stratton Ride is a road cycling tour featuring some of the most stunning scenery and terrain in the northern Adirondacks.
Dates: August 22, rain or shine
Location: Saranac Lake
Mileage: 25, 50 or Century
Participation Cap: 300 riders
Benefits: Saranac Lake Kiwanis Club Youth Programs
Stratton veterans will also tell you the ride is also known for the world famous fresh baked pies available to all at the finish line BBQ, which is hosted at Mt. Pisgah Recreation Center in Saranac Lake.
But here's what it's really about. The kids. Your registration supports a wide variety of youth programs, including an annual bicycle rodeo, free helmet distribution and fitting, school back-pack program, support for foster children, and summer camp scholarships.
Since it began 26 years ago, the ride has generated over $140,000 for area youth programs.

Time considerations-
The ride organizers anticipate that each ride should be completed within the following time durations;
25 mi – 2 to 2 1/2 hours, appox. speed of 10mph
50 mi – 3 to 4 hours, appox. speed of 14 mph
100 mi – 6 to 7 hours, appox. speed of 15 mph
Please consider these estimates when selecting your ride. If you are a slower rider you may miss out on the BBQ and raffle, which would be a sad thing! These times are expected to get you back to the lodge before 3 p.m. when the BBQ closes and the raffle begins.

EVENT IS FULL!
The National Capital Pride Run is an all ages, all-level event with a 2.5 km walk or a 5 km run/walk option. Since 2016 the Pride Run has raised over $82,000 for Bruce House. Run, walk or roll with us every August and raise money for people living with HIV in Ottawa.
