We're back! 2026 will be the fourth Forest Lea Trail Run!
Located in the heart of the Laurentian Valley, the race consists of trails that are primarily single track with its fair share of roots and rocks, and a little bit of dirt road thrown in here and there! Challenge yourself in one of 2 distances, 10 km or 27 km. Both races start with a double track section to spread out the group, and then spend the rest of the time in the tight, technical trails. Maximum of 150 competitors between both races
For youths 15 yrs of age and younger that want to try their hand at trail running, there is a free 3km race. Race covers mostly dirt road and double track trails. It is advisable a parent accompanies youth for safety, as trails a fairly technical in some areas (no requirement to register). Maximum 50 entrants.
Shirt sizes can only be guaranteed for those who register by July 26th.

Sunday August 9 - 7:00 to 10:45 at Forest Lea Trails

A multi sport event with an option for everyone...
Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run.
Sprint Team Relay: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run by a team of 2 or 3.
Super Sprint: (Formerly Try-A-Tri): 350m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run.
Open water swim will take place in beautiful Black Bay.
Early race kit pick up will take place Saturday August 15th from 2pm - 4pm at GearHeads - 3133 Petawawa Blvd.
Race Kits will be also be available for pick up on race morning during check in and body marking 6:45am - 7:30 am.
Race Start time - 8:00am Sprint and Team Sprint Relay.
Super Sprint will begin once all Sprint event participants are out of the water.
T-Shirt sizes can only be guaranteed if you have registered before 01 Aug.
Registered participants will be emailed an Information package once online registration closes.
A mandatory safety briefing will take place before the beginning of the race.
Triathletes and volunteers are invited to a post race meal and awards presentation at the KIN Hut in Petawawa following the race.
