The TWENTIETH Strachan Hartley Legacy Run is Sunday, October 18!
Join us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this beloved community event. Since
2007, runners, walkers and people from all walks of life have come together to raise
funds and build community. Together, you have raised $750,000 to provide youth
from the downside Eastside with the opportunities they deserve to reach their full
potential. We want to celebrate this momentous occasion with everyone who forms
a part of this community - which means YOU!
19th annual Rubber Ducky
5K, 7 Mile, Half Marathon
Rubber Ducky Day themed race so feel free to dress up!
This beautiful 21.1K & 7 Mile course circles Burnaby lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and more chances to view birds and animals in this wilderness environment. Join other walkers & runners on this scenic course throughout the trails of Burnaby Lake. Located in the middle of the city, Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary. The lake was created by a glacier 12,000 years ago and its shores were home to sawmills in the late 1800's. The race will provide you with an opportunity to be active while enjoying the scenic trails of Burnaby Lake.
We race Burnaby Lake twice a year with annual races, Shamrock’n Race in March and the Rubber Ducky in October. The Shamrock’n Race 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake clockwise and the Rubber Ducky 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake counter clockwise.
