Date: April 18 Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm Cost (Member): $120.00 +HST Cost (Non-Member): $140.00 +HST Instructor: Alex Roger Description: Basic Cycling Skills provides an opportunity for “on-bike” practice in skill teaching and analysis, coaching, and provided lesson plans. The program is simple, based on several pre-designed lesson plans, and adaptable to participants’ varying skill and ability levels. The program’s focus is on having participants develop skills that are basic to MTB, BMX, and Road, in a controlled, off-road, off-trail setting such as a sports field or parking lot. The Basic Cycling Skills course is cross-listed with the Intro to Competition & Community Initiation NCCP coaching stream. Register Here

The first event of the Subaru Triathlon Series and one of the first outdoor Triathlons in Ontario to kick off the season! The event is based out of Kelso Conservation Area, with the swim and run routes all within the park and the bike on local roads. Please note that due to road construction and changes in the area, that there will be some changes to the bike and run courses. The sprint courses will be: 750m Swim, 29km Bike and 5km Run.

We’re excited to be back at the breathtaking Kelso Conservation Area for Wheels 2026. Whether you ride, hike, or walk, your participation directly supports the medically complex children and families cared for by The Darling Home for Kids.

• 🚶‍♀️ Accessible Family Walk Enjoy a relaxed, inclusive walk along Kelso’s beautiful boardwalk - perfect for families and participants of all ages and abilities.

After your adventure, join us for a finish line celebration, where all participants will come together to mark their accomplishments and the meaningful impact they’ve made.

Due to construction at the Milton Sports Centre, TRi KiDS Milton will now take place on July 5. The race will return to Labour Day weekend in the 2027 season.

The TRi KiDS Triathlon Series powered by Pure Flavor offers safe, non-competitive, confidence-building races for children and youth ages 3 to 15. TRi KiDS events combine three sports kids love: swimming, biking and running. We celebrate participation with the goal of encouraging a positive, healthy attitude towards physical activity and instilling self-confidence. The achievement of each athlete is recognized…and not just at the finish line!

We believe if children and youth engage in activities in a positive and supportive environment they will be active for life. The TRi KiDS commitment is to create memorable events where the athletes are the focus and their participation is celebrated by their family and friends, our volunteers and us.

Bib Personalization Deadline: June 14, 2026 – Athletes who register (including transfers or entries from the waitlist) after this deadline will not receive a bib with their first name

Family registration – A discount of $2 per athlete is offered when registering 2+ athletes in the same immediate family. Family members must reside in the same household and the registration must be completed in the same transaction. To get this discount for one athlete in multiple races, you must register here.
