Zero Promises Run Club was born in January 2026 in San Fernando, California, from a deeply practical fear: that starting independent coaching careers might fracture the community that made the work meaningful. Cruz, a Nike Trainer grounded in accessibility, and Annysa, a life coach whose warmth makes strangers feel immediately seen, needed an answer. The run club became it. Not a business play, just a gathering place built to keep familiar faces in the same orbit and relationships alive somewhere real and consistent. Lake Balboa became the anchor, and the crew grew to around 800 members spanning every background and fitness level the Valley offers. They meet Thursdays at 19:00 and Saturday mornings at 07:00 for longer efforts. What makes Zero Promises distinct is the intentionality around the walking option, treated with the same care and pride as the running one.
