  This event brings together families, teams, schools, churches, organizations, runners, and walkers of all ages to walk or run with purpose. Every step taken supports scholarships for young women pursuing higher education and helps elevate awareness around uterine cancer—represented by the peach/coral ribbon, a symbol of hope, education, and advocacy.

  Whether you choose to run, walk, or cheer others on, this 5K is about more than distance. It is about legacy, empowerment, and community impact.

  Texas Heat is on the top this year! Do you dare to challenge it at the Caliente Off Road 5K? This race is part of the Centex Race Series. We are featuring a new course! The run will be a cross country style off road course throughout Long Branch Park. All runners will receive points. The first 120 runners to register are guarantee a t-shirt and a race bag. Awards will be given to the overall male & female, and to the top three male & female winners of each age group. T-shirts will be given to all of those pre-registered. Limit t-shirts will be available onsite.

The race includes a 5K with individual awards, a Little Monster Dash, and a kids' costume contest. This race is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series. 5K shirts guaranteed for 5K early registrations (cutoff date 10/9/2025). Shirts and/or sizes are not guaranteed for later registrations. Little Monster Dash receives a goody bag.
