The Key West Open Water Swim in September will host an 800 yard swim, a 1-mile race, a 2-mile race and a chance to do it all. The event will take place on Higgs Beach (1000 Atlantic Blvd) Key West, FL starting at 9:30am. Sunday August 31, 2025. View the pristine waters of Key West and awesome sights of the water below. Lifeguard are stationed throughout the course.
Event details and schedule
August 31: 8:30am-9:15am: check in on Higgs Beach by Reynolds Street pier.
August 31: 9:30am: 800yd race begins. The next event will begin 10 minutes after the prior race. In the order: 800yd, 1 mile, 2 mile races.
