Get ready for the ultimate test of endurance at Seven Bends State Park, where runners will battle through a 10-mile looped course featuring rolling terrain and scenic beauty. Course is mixed terrain with gravel roads, two-track dirt roads and some single-track trail. Whether you're aiming to conquer a 100-miler, pushing for a Last Man Standing victory, taking on your first ultra distance in the 50-mile and 50k, or chasing a land speed record in the 10-mile , this race demands grit, strategy, and resilience.Course:- ~ 10 miles (mixed terrain, trail)- ~1600 ft of gain each loopRace Distances & Cutoffs- 10-mile: 4-hour cutoff - 50k:10-hour cutoff (must make the 10-mile cutoff to continue) - 50-mile:15-hour cutoff (must meet all prior cutoffs to continue) - 100-mile 33-hour cutoff (must meet all prior cutoffs to continue) - Last Man Standing Ruck 'til You Drop: No cutoffs but must start final lap before the 25-hour mark.     Event Description Get ready for a fun day of adventure, miles, and community at Evenstar Ultras at Shenandoah River State Park.This is a timed event, meaning you choose the amount of time you’d like to run and cover as much distance as you can within that block. The 3.48- mile trail loop brings you back frequently to the main aid station, so there’s no need to carry excessive gear, fuel or navigation tools. With 3-, 6-,12-, and 24- hour options, there is something for everyone, whether you’re aiming for your first 50k or taking on the challenge of 100 miles. This is a no DNF race, every distance and accomplishment is celebrated!Evenstar is a nod to the lore of Tolkein’s Middle-earth and the sense of adventure and wonder we hope to bring to our events. The name also reflects the spirit of the Shenandoah Valley, known as the “Daughter of the Stars”, a reference to the stars that reflected upon the river below, making the valley a daughter of the stars above.     takes place on Allen’s Mountain in Shenandoah River State Park in Bentonville, VA. This 3.48-mile loop on the Allen's Mountain trail features 670 feet of elevation gain, offering plenty of climbing throughout your chosen race duration. Runners will navigate primarily single-track trail, with technical sections that include rocks, roots, and the possibility of two creek crossings. Complete as many loops as you can within your race time. What's Included You're not simply buying a race bib, this is an all day trail adventure with a fantastic community!Each runner will receive:Race entry and fully supported course access.Hoodie with our event logo.Access to our main aid station with water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, coffee, and classic ultra snacks like gummies, chips, pretzels, PB&J, and more.Cooked warm food options throughout the race duration.A finisher award if you complete at least one loop! This is a race for time, not distance, you can set your own goals!Awards will be given to the top

    three women and men in each race distance/time category (3 hr, 6 hr, 12 hr, 24 hr). A special distance award will be awarded to those who complete 100 miles. Night Running Anyone participating in the 12 or 24 hour events will be required to wear a headlamp/waist light when it gets dark. Race Director will inform you when you need to have your light on. Please bring spare batteries, back up lights, charging packs, no runners will be allowed on course without it once it gets dark.     Come out and enjoy this scenic half-marathon, 10k and 5k in Shenandoah River State Park. We have a hilly, paved 5k route with 200ft of elevation gain starting at 9:30am, and another 5k (trail, flatter) starting at 10:45am!
