  The 42nd Annual Bridge of Lions 5K is back! Join us downtown for this can’t-miss St. Augustine tradition. Runners and walkers will start at the historic Castillo de San Marcos in downtown St. Augustine, cross the iconic Bridge of Lions, and wind through beautiful Davis Shores. The race finishes at Oglethorpe Park on Anastasia Island, where participants will receive a custom-designed finisher medal and enjoy snacks, refreshments, and post-race fun.   Would like to cordially invite you to our annual "Pink Up The Pace" 5K Walk/Run. On Saturday, October 3, we will kick off (October’s) Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our 5K walk/run through our historic downtown St. Augustine. Pink Up The Pace (PUTP) is a non-profit organization founded by Cindy Ortiz Chaconas in 2009, when diagnosed at age 28.

  The race is now in its 18th year and continues to make an impact and grow. The 2009 inaugural race brought in over 800 participants and raised $20,000. In 2019, there were 2,900 participants and $50,000 raised. All the money raised stays in St. Johns County and goes directly towards our mission of assisting the uninsured and underinsured in the early detection of breast cancer. In the last 18 years, we have been able to pay out over $350,000 in breast imaging services to the men and women in need in our county.

  A CHRISTMAS GIFT THAT LASTS A LIFETIME - Race proceeds help provide normal life experiences to our residential foster kids and those with a mental health diagnosis and non-traditional families, especially during the Holiday season. Let Joy, Peace and Love ring true for all.

  St. Augustine Youth Services shapes the future of Florida's at-risk youth by providing coaching, counseling and care in family style therapeutic group homes and outpatient community services. Proceeds from this race help provide normal life experiences for youth cared for by the facility including:

  • Summer Camps

  • School Sports & Outings

  • After School Programs

  • School Supplies

  • Food Assistance
