    Join the Coffman YMCA and Milano’s as they host the Coffman YMCA Sprint Triathlon with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Annual Campaign. This race is great for the novice but also challenging enough for the more seasoned triathlete. The triathlon will begin and end at the Coffman Y.

    Course Description

    Start with a 300 yd swim that will take place in the pool. It will be a serpentine swim. Swimmers will enter pool with chip timer on ankle. Transition will be through the back of pool area to the back of the Y where the Bike Racks will be located.

    Bike is an out and back loop through Settler's Walk neighborhood and on Lytle Five Points to the turn-around at Lytle Five Elementary School. The bike course is two loops.

    Finish with an out-and-back 3.1-mile run through out Settler’s Walk. The route is smooth and will have volunteers along the route to direct participants. There will be 1 aid station near the 1- and 2-mile marks.

    Registration

    Pre-Registration is $60 by May 1, 2025 and $70 thereafter. T-shirts are

    guaranteed for those registered on or before May 1. Youth (under 17) is

    $40 before May 1 and $50 after. YOU CAN REGISTER ONLY AT

    WILL BE TAKEN AT THE YMCA. Packet Pickup: Sunday starting at 5:30 AM.

    Timing and results provided by Speedy-Feet. Award Medal for everyone

    who participates and crosses the finish line. Overall male and female. Age

    Group-Awards for Overall male and female in age groups! 19-under,

    20-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59 and 60+. All results and pictures will be

    The Buckeye Triathlon and Multisport Festival has something for everyone, including all ages and ability levels! Races include beginner, sprint, olympic, and ⅓ iron distances in triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, and aquathlons, with various open swim distances. Racers call this race one of the best events in Ohio because of our positive, friendly community of support! It's a small race with a big race atmosphere. Plus there is free training help, along with awesome performance tees in gender-specific cuts, in-race pictures, finisher medals, and a post-race meal! Race assured that we will ensure the safety of all athletes, have medical support and law enforcement on site, adhere to all Federal, State and Local ordinances, so you can achieve your goals!     Race Venue

    The Buckeye Triathlon and Multisport Festival will take place at Caesar Creek State Park Beach in Waynesville, Ohio, which is a short drive North of Cincinnati and South of Dayton. Packet Pick-up, and the Start/Finish Lines will be at the beachfront just North of the Park office, found at 8570 OH-73, Waynesville, OH 45068. Enter the park and drive all the way into the park to the last (Northernmost) parking lot at the Beachfront. There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, and all the race festivities will be in the grass down by the Beach. Look for the tents and banners.

    RACE START TIME: 7 p.m.

    PARKING: Possum Creek Metropark Reservable Shelter area. Start at Sycamore Shelter (4730 Frytown Road Dayton, Ohio). Please use Parking lots. NO PARKING ON THE GRASS. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. Additional parking will be available in the main park at the Pond Parking lot with a 1/2 mile walk to the start/finish line.

    COURSE: You will be running on various terrain surfaces (dirt, gravel, meadow, grass) with no water crossings. This is a great introduction to trail running with a very low elevation gain/loss. Trail shoes are not necessary.

    REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race. Online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can be done in-person at the race. Hard copy registration sheets are also available on race day if needed. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.

    CHECK-IN: All participants must check-in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to get your chip.

    We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm-up prior to the race start.

    FEES:

    All Current ORRRC Members Run for Free (Fee waived automatically when your RSU membership profile is used to register online, or bring your card/proof of membership to the event)

    Non-Members:

    – $10 for ages 15 and up

    – Free for ages 14 and under

    Members, if you don't register through RunSignup, you absolutely MUST show proof of membership on race day to be eligible for the member fees! No exceptions!

    ANIMAL POLICY: Due to our insurance coverage, animals are not permitted at any ORRRC event. The only exception is service dogs, which must be clearly identified.     The Dayton Triathlon and Multisport Festival has something for everyone, including all ages and ability levels! Races include kids, beginner, sprint, Olympic, and ⅓ iron distances in triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, and aquathlons, open runs, and various open swim distances. We are athletes who want to foster a love of multisport training and racing, by hosting fun, safe, and challenging races. Racers call this race one of the best events in Ohio because of our positive, friendly atmosphere. Plus we have a post race meal (bbq, hot dogs, veggies, ice cream and more…) for athletes and spectators, designer tees in gender-specific cuts, in-race pictures, and finisher medals. There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, and all the race festivities will be in the far parking lot (farthest from the entrance South of the Park Office). There will be parking available at the beachfront; there are restrooms there as well.

    Packet Pickup: Up and Running 6123 Far Hills on June 27th, 2-4pm.

    Times: The event will start in heats based on age. 5-6 years of age will start first at 8am but all participants should be at the event and ready to go by 8:00am.

    Race day registration will be available beginning at 6:30am.

    Triathlon and Distances: (1k = .6 mile)

    Ages 5-6: 50-meter swim, 2k bike and .5k run

    Ages 7-10: 100-meter swim, 4k bike and 1k run

    Ages 11-14: 200-meter swim, 8k bike and 2k run

    Entry Fee: $20 includes t-shirt, finisher’s medal, goggles and a chance to win great door prizes. Price increases to $25 after June 22. Race day registration is $30. Any additional siblings receive $5 off.

    There are no refunds and there is no rain date.
