  Cargo Ranch will be hosting the 11th Annual Cargo Classic on April 18th at 8:00 am. The run will happen at the Cargo Ranch, 4 miles NW of Shawnee, located at 8895 Coker Rd Shawnee, OK. The 5k will be run on a USATF certified course there will also be a 1 Mile Run or Walk. After the run, all the runners are served a hot breakfast as the awards are given out.

  If you sign up by April 3rd you can take advantage of the early bird pricing of $30 for the 1 Mile Donut Dash and $35 for the 5k, and get a guaranteed shirt in your size.

  About Cargo Ranch: Cargo Ranch is a mentorship program for youth in our community that have struggles or obstacles in their lives that make day to day living more difficult. We utilize mentors and horses to build healthy relationships and share hope of Christ with our students and families.

  Cargo Classic Race Details:

  • Early packet pick up & registration at The Cargo Ranch: 4 to 6 pm on Friday, April 17th

  • Race Day packet pick up & registration starts at 7:00 AM on Race day (4/18)

  • 5K and Fun Run all start at 8:00 am

  • April 3rd is the last day to register with a guaranteed t-shirt

  • Early Bird Registration until April 5th for $35 - 5k, $30 - 1 Mile Donut Dash. $5 more for 5k after 4/5

  • Medals awarded to the top 3 in male & female age groups for the 5k

  • Cash prizes will be awarded to top 3 males and top 3 females overall

  • Full breakfast after the race for all participants

  • USATF Sanctioned Event & will be run on a USATF Certified Course - SEE BELOW FOR MAP

  • The 5k will be a chip timed race by I:40 Race Service

  Virtual Run Details:

  Please sign up for the virtual run if you would like to support Cargo Ranch from a distance and on your own schedule. You will run a 5k at the time of your choice and on a route of your choice, sometime before April 18th. No reporting of your time or distance is required and you will be mailed a medal and t-shirt the week after the race. You must register for the virtual run by the April 5th t-shirt deadline.

  Early Packet Pickup

  If you’d like to grab your packet ahead of time, we’ll be hosting early pickup on:

  Your packet will include your race bib, t-shirt, and a few other goodies!

  Race Day Packet Pickup & Check-In

  We completely understand that many participants may not be local to Norman and might not be able to attend early pickup — that’s totally okay!

  If that’s you, we recommend arriving with plenty of time on race morning to check in and grab your packet.

  ✔ Check-in opens at 8:00 AM

  Parking Information

  There are multiple parking lots near the intersection of Jenkins Ave. and Brooks St. that will be available for 5K participants on race day.
