    The Malta 5k Trail Race course begins at the Luther Forest Tech Campus soccer fields and quickly enters some of the best maintained trails in the area at 100 Acre Woods.

    Most of the course is covered in stone dust and 6' wide. Other sections are on soft ground that feels like you are immersed in nature. This course is for everyone that loves to run or hike on trails with beautiful scenery the whole way! #Malta5kTrailRace

    Volunteers from Roundabout Runners Club maintain these trails. 100% of proceeds from the event go to activities that support the club efforts to keep these trails in great shape!

    Price increase after the Malta 5K Road Race on September 12th, then again the last week before the event.

    Moreau Half The Moreau half is a challenging 14 mile tour of the Moreau Lake State Park trail system. This will be an epic trail race on some of the best mountain single track in the area.Sign up by October 18th to guarantee you get a shirt! Where & When: Start and finish are at the Moreau Lake State Park beach in the parkFirst wave start time 8amThere is no fee to enter the park. Parking available near the beach. The Course: Moreau HalfThe course runs roughly 14 miles and 2700 feet of gain over winding technical singletrack. This is not a half-marathon for beginners. Most runners should expect to double their road half-marathon time. The course will be fully marked and there will be one aid station at Bonita Lake about 6 miles into the race.     Join us for a 2 mile run; 12 mile bike; and 2 mile run that finishes along the scenic route of the Mohawk Towpath Byway, one of America’s Byways®.

    The start, bike transition, finish and awards will all be at Riverview Orchards, 660 Riverview Road, Rexford.

    *This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event, prices above do not include one day membership, if applicable.

    The first 150 registrants receive a commemorative item!

    Proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that seeks to increase awareness, enjoyment and linkage of the wide variety of scenic, recreational and historic resources along the Mohawk River and Erie Canal corridor from Waterford to Schenectady.

    The Friends is a membership organization serving as a bridge to our communities.
