Join us Saturday, May 9, 2026 9am at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive (Zion Park District) for a fun-filled event celebrating mothers.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event is perfect for all ages and skill levels. The 5K (FLAT FAST COURSE) race will test your endurance. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to challenge yourself and have blast with friends and family. This is a timed event. This race supports Healthy YOUth at ZBE and ZBTHS and the Zion-Benton Coalition for Healthy Communities.

How to Participate

Start your fundraising by giving a gift yourself. Your example encourages others to give.

3. Invite Others to Join You

Ask friends, family, coworkers, and church members to sponsor your walk using Sponsor Sheet or on line link.

4. Share the Mission

Tell people why you are walking and how their support helps women, men, babies, and families in our community.

5. Join Us on Walk Day

Come walk with us, celebrate life, and see the difference your support makes!

Welcome to the Flight to the Finish 5K and Kids 100m Dash!

Join us Sat, Aug 16 2025 at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive (Zion Park District) for a fun-filled event as we launch our Zinnia and Monarch Festival..and Bees Too!

The day begins at 8:30 am with the FREE kids 100 meter dash with ribbons awarded to the top 3 finishers under the age of 10. Then Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the 5K race at 8:45am.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event is perfect for all ages and skill levels. The 5K (FLAT FAST COURSE) race will test your endurance, while the Kids 100m Dash is a great way to get the little ones involved. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to challenge yourself and have a blast with friends and family. The event closes with a Bubble Bash Celebration for those interested, awards for ages and top finishers AND First Time 5Kers and door prizes! AWESOME Zinnia and Monarch Festival...and Bees Too! Join fellow students, teachers, parents, and administrators for the Woodland ROAR Run, featuring a 5k race and 1 mile Fun Run to benefit the Woodland PTA! Grab your friends and neighbors for an exciting evening of friendly competition, music, and camaraderie - all are welcome to race to the finish. The race will start at Woodland Middle School and wind around beautiful Bittersweet Golf Course and the neighboring community. Don't miss this fun night to kick off the school year and support the students and teachers of the Woodland District!

Our PTA is offering runners who need financial assistance a scholarship to help pay entry fees. Please contact us if you are looking for help, and your information will be kept confidential.

We are on CARA's 2026 Runner's Choice Race Circuit Again!

Lake Bluff PTO Pumpkin Chase 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is on Saturday October 24, 2026. The 5K starts @ 8AM and the Fun Run starts @ 9:15AM. Our 5K course is a certified course (USATF- IL-14092-JW) that travels along the beautiful tree lined streets of east Lake Bluff down to the bluff overlooking the shores of Lake Michigan. Don't forget to bring the kids as the 1 Mile Fun Run begins shortly after the 5K and is a family favorite with K-8th grade bragging rights on the line. Stick around for post race refreshments, camaraderie, and awards after each race!
