3rd Annual Norwalk 5K

The City of Santa Fe Springs is excited to announce the 2026 5K Fun Run/Walk! Celebrate the Totally 80s theme by rocking bright colors, headbands, and leg warmers while you run. This year, enjoy a new route with fresh city sights! Grab your 5K shirt with registration (while supplies last) and get ready for a fun, family-friendly run. Don’t forget to invite your friends and family to cheer you on!

Council welcome begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by the Kids 1/4 Mile Dash, and ending with the 5K.

Join us for the Run for the Ranch! 5K Run/Walk and show your Don pride while supporting the students of El Rancho Unified School District.

This exciting community event begins and ends at El Rancho High School, taking participants on a scenic course toward the San Gabriel River spreading grounds before finishing back on campus. Runners will have the opportunity to cross the finish line on the all-weather track at the Don Memorial Stadium.

Whether you're a competitive runner, casual walker, student, parent, or community supporter, this event is a great way to stay active, connect with the community, and support student programs across the district.

The race will be professionally chip timed, with results posted on RunSignUp. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

6–8 | 9–11 | 12–14 | 15–18 | 19–29 | 30–39 | 40–49 | 50–59 | 60–69 | 70+

All proceeds benefit the El Rancho Associated Student Body (ASB), supporting student activities, leadership programs, and school spirit initiatives.

Este emocionante evento comunitario comienza y termina en El Rancho High School y lleva a los participantes por una ruta escénica hacia el San Gabriel River antes de regresar al campus. Los corredores tendrán la oportunidad de cruzar la meta en la pista atlética del Don Memorial Stadium.

Ya sea que sea un corredor competitivo, un caminante casual, estudiante, padre de familia o miembro de la comunidad, este evento es una excelente oportunidad para mantenerse activo, convivir con la comunidad y apoyar los programas estudiantiles del distrito.

La carrera contará con cronometraje electrónico, y los resultados se publicarán en RunSignUp. Se entregarán premios a los tres primeros lugares masculinos y femeninos en cada categoría de edad.

Whether you’re racing to the finish line or strolling with family and friends, this event is all about moving your body, feeling good, and celebrating a healthier Paramount together. Stick around after the run to explore wellness resources, fitness activities, giveaways, and fun for all ages. Best of all, every dollar raised directly supports the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) Scholarship—so every step you take helps invest in our students’ future! 🏃‍♀️💙🎓

Join the Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the Crimson & Cream Community Foundation for our annual Walk for Education. Proceeds will help our chapter continue to provide scholarships to high school seniors in our service area. Our chapter services the cities of Cerritos, Bellflower, Norwalk, La Mirada, Whittier, Hawaiian Gardens, Santa Fe Springs, Artesia and Downey. Over the 26 plus years we have provided $167,000 in scholarship funds to students. Thank you in advance for your donations this year!
