Run for a Reason: Your Support Makes the Difference

Run for a reason. The Y is dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to our programming and services, from life-saving swim safety to youth development and childcare. We reinvest millions of dollars each year in financial assistance and scholarships, supporting thousands of families and individuals in the communities we serve.

Your registration supports this essential mission, ensuring we can continue to help those in our community who need the Y most. Your commitment directly strengthens the Greater Beverly YMCA and the neighbors we serve every day. By participating, you’re not just running a race—you’re making a life-changing impact.

Our Y reinvests millions of dollars each year through financial assistance and scholarships to ensure thousands of families and individuals in the 25 communities we serve have access to programming, services and the resources they need. Your participation in our road races supports our mission and allows us to continue to help those who need the Y most. Run through the haunted streets of Salem - the ghouls, ghosts and goblins will be with you in spirit this year!

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run.
