This will be the Tuscarawas County YMCA's 55th Turkey Trot! The event is held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM located at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, 600 Monroe St, Dover, OH 44622. Everyone is welcome to register and participate in this fun, family-friendly race whether you're a serious runner, walker, family with strollers and dogs, or are just looking to start your Thanksgiving off right! Our participants ages range from babies all the way to runners in their 90's!

Awards are given to the top 3 overall female and male finishers and the top 3 in each age group. Special awards for best spirit, costume, oldest and youngest runners and best pet costume will also be given at the race.

T-Shirts:

We offer Youth Small to Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, or No Shirt option. Please register by November 1 to guarantee a race shirt!

Proceeds:

All proceeds from the Turkey Trot provide direct financial assistance to kids and families in our community through the Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring everyone has the opportunity for a Y membership, program participation, life saving swim lessons, preschool, afterschool care, summer camp, youth sports and so much more.

The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

    🚒The 18th Annual Shearer's Food Chip Chase 5K Run/Walk will be held in downtown Brewster with a Kids Fun Run (this is an unmeasured, approx. 100-yard fun run.) All proceeds from the event will benefit the Brewster Fireman Association.

    🎆Bring the family to join us for RAFFLES, runners' bags, door prizes, race refreshments, the Brewster Fireman's Festival (with carnival rides, fair food, live bands, FIREWORKS, and more)- and a GREAT SUMMER RACE!

    We offer a family discount of $5 after the first registrant for the 5K event! Discount is automatically applied when checking out with the same account.

    Before the big 'taters run, the little ones can be a "Chip Off the Old Block," and participate in the Kids Fun Run- for kids 8 & under! All "little Chips" will receive a t-shirt, medal, and finishers goodie bag!

    Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by 05-13-2026!

    Race day registration and packet-pick up is held at the starting line located East of the Brewster Fire Department (110 Main St SE, Brewster, OH 44613) in downtown Brewster. All racers will finish in Bimeler Park where refreshments and awards will be held.

    Brewster is located on State Route 93, and Bimeler Park is located directly across from the Bell Stores, behind the Brewster Moose.

    This flat, fast course starts in the village and runs South out of town through the industrial park and then winds through some of the streets and alleys in the village back to the finish line.

    We have the Seedling Scamper is a free kids run for ages 10 & under that takes place before the 5K. It is about 1/2 mile long, and the kids get to cross the finish line, for a photo finish for the parents. Each scamper will receive a patch at the finish line.

    Proceeds from this race are to aid the Bolivar Main Street Association in putting on such events as the Strawberry Festival, the Classics on Canal car show and the Christmas on the Canal.

    Shirts:

    Participants can choose a unisex shirt size X-Small to 2X-Large or no shirt for $5 discount. Guarantee of race shirt up to May 15th, after that it is a first come first serve!

    Night Glow traces its roots back to the Jackson Township 5K transitioning into the Jackson Night Glow in 1999 as part of the Jackson Star Spangled Celebration. From its humble beginnings, the race quickly grew into the beloved evening tradition it is today, continuing to foster a strong sense of community within Jackson Township and beyond. The Jackson Night Glow is an all-inclusive 5k evening event designed for individuals of all ages. Participants will experience a vibrant night race illuminated by a captivating array of glowing elements. The event features a Kids ½ Mile Fun Run designed for younger participants before the main festivities. It is not just a 5k race, it is an experience: What makes the Jackson Night Glow 5k so unique - it could the 1,500 luminaries that light the course, the booming fireworks to start the race, the the 300 foot arch way of lights, the rowdy spectators in the neighborhood streets cheering you on, the amazing race shirts, the glow necklaces etc. Following

    the race, all runners and supporters are encouraged to connect with one another while enjoying a selection of snacks and beverages. This event is organized and hosted by the Jackson High School Cross Country team and their supporters.

    Donation:

    Donations support the various nonprofit organizations that participate in the event including; The Little Pink Ribbon Girl Organization, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC), 33JordanStrong Organization, Ainsley's Angels, Jackson Cross Country Parents and more.

    Garments:

    Night Glow shirt shirt/sizes will only be guaranteed for those who pre register by midnight of June 16.

    Thursday, June 25:

    Fulton Road will be closed! You will need to navigate to the back of school (West Parking Lot) and Enter Door 16W. Front doors will be locked!

    Option 1: Enter by the YMCA from Wales Road

    Option 2: Enter off of Fulton coming from the West, you will need to turn into South Park to access the school (turn before the road construction starts)

    5:00-8:00pm - Packet Pickup - Commons Area in Jackson High School (7600 Fulton Drive N.W. Massillon, OH 44646)

    *If you are arriving from out of the area we can make special arrangements for you so you do not miss out on the event (you will pick up your packet right at the starting line from 8:00pm-9:00pm).

    Friday, June 26: No Event Day Registration!

    Parking is at the Jackson Memorial Middle School (7355 Mudbrook St NW, Massillon, OH 44646). This located right near the start and finish line.

    ***Please pay attention to the parking map as Mudbrook will be closing by way of Wales Road at 8:30 PM for race set up. If you arrive after 8:30 PM you will need to access Mudbrook by way of Arlington road and head east turning into Sauder Elementary which links to the Middle School.

    8:30 PM - Mudbrook St closed by way of Wales Rd, only accessible by Arlington Rd!:

    9:00 PM - Half Mile Fun Run - Start/Finish at Jackson Township Hall at the 5k finish line. *Located very close to the start line so nobody will miss running the 5k.

    9:30 PM - 5K Run & Fun Walk/Competive Walk - Start on Mudbrook Road in front of Jackson Memorial Middle School

    Restrooms/Emergency Shelter (Race Night):

    Restrooms will be available inside Jackson Memorial Middle School on race night between 7:00-9:30 PM. This is in addition to all of the restrooms available as part of the Jackson Festival. Should we need to use emergency shelter we will use the same entrance to the Middle School. Please be aware that the middle school will be locked once the race begins make sure to grab all of your belongings prior to the start of the run

    Proceeds raised at this event will support PGD (Project Grinch Dust), a local 501(c)3 committed to helping local families in their time of need. By supplying local families with back to school clothes, shoes, backpacks and supplies as well as Christmas gifts that the children make a wishlist for, PGD is hopeful to bring happiness to families when it feels like their is no hope. Please consider making a donation or contributing school supplies (see our FB page for a full wishlist) to be entered into our giveaway.

    Join generations of Winesburgers in running the Great Grape Race, one of the many fun events of the 28th Winesburg Reunion weekend! This event begins at Winesburg Park and is perfect for all ages, featuring a scenic route through the picturesque farmland. Whether you’re a dedicated runner, a casual jogger, or just looking to enjoy a family-friendly event, this race is designed for everyone.

    Granola bars, bananas and water will be available for runners at the finish line. The event concludes at Winesburg Park, where the Fall Festival will be taking place. After the race, there will be food trucks, baseball games, and various festival and reunion activities throughout the rest of the day.

    Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers. All participants will receive a voucher for an ice cream cone from Whitmer's General Store.

    Parking will be in the field behind the playground at Winesburg park. Participants will need to drive past the park entrance on TR 671. They will enter the drive at 7771 TR 671 and park in the field past the house. There will be signs indicating where to park the day of the race.

    NOTE: Shirt deadline is 2 weeks prior to event. Anyone registering after this date will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. We will do our best to estimate quantity and sizing needs but can not guarantee correct sizes to anyone registering after this date.
