    • Este es nuestro tercer año haciendo la carrera Dream Run 5K, ven y únete a nosotros el Sábado 30 de Mayo del, 2026. La carrera comenzara a las 8:00AM.

    • La registracion para los corredores comenzara a las 6:30AM asta las 7:40AM para obtener su camisa y numero de corredor.

    • ¡Todas las edades son bienvenidas a participar!

    • Awards will be given to male and female winners in several categories ranging from 8 and under to 70 and over. There will also be a special award to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

    About the Dream run 5K:

    • The Dream Run 5k was created by Iglesia Cristiana Torre Fuerte Inc. The purpose of this race is to obtain fundings for the construction of a new establishment for our church. We've had a good start in the building with revenue from last years race, and we're getting close to the finish line. We are a small church located on Highway 516 US-280. Our congregation has grown over the years making us in need of a bigger establishment. We are building our dream establishment to praise God with all our heart and we welcome you to join us and become part of this dream.

El propósito de esta carrera es obtener financiamiento para la construcción de un nuevo establecimiento para nuestra iglesia. Hemos tenido un buen comienzo en el edificio con los ingresos de la carrera de los años pasados, y nos estamos acercando a la meta. Somos una pequeña iglesia ubicada en la autopista 516 US-280.     The Home Run 5k and 1M Fun Run will be held in beautiful Americus, Georgia. The route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through historic homes in the neighborhood. Every dollar raised by this event directly benefits the Americus Campus of The Methodist Home. This race is being held in memory of a friend of the home, Jay Williams.

    Each participant will receive a t-shirt and snacks at the finish line, as supplies last. Finisher's medals will be available to all children under 14 (and as requested for adults as supplies last)

    5k Age Group Categories:

    0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.

    We will recognize the first, second and third overall male and female as well as first master's overall male and female. Overall winners will receive a cash prize and will be ineligible in the age group categories. All winners will receive a special piece of artwork created by our girls at the Methodist Home.

    Packet Pickup will take place at the church (Americus First Methodist Church) on race day beginning at 6:30am and concluding at 7:45am.

    This event will be held to raise funds for the HALO Group in Perry, Georgia. The HALO Group is a vocational and life skills day program that serves adults(teammates) with developmental disabilities and autism.

    The goal of the HALO Group is to help enrich each teammates overall quality of life and help each one become as independent as possible. We also strive to assist those who are able in finding equitable and viable employment within the community, while offering continued job coaching in order to sustain employment.

    This year’s event will take place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. There will be a $100 prize for the top Male and Female winners and the top Male and Female Masters. Come join us for a great morning of running.
