In March 2026, a group of runners in Gallarate looked at Malpensa Airport and thought: every run is a flight. Malpensa Running Crew launched with a simple creed: nessuno viene mai lasciato indietro, nobody gets left behind. Founders built the crew around conversation over splits, inclusivity over pace hierarchy. Today, around 45 runners of all levels gather Thursday evenings at 7pm from Cinelandia Gallarate for easy 8km runs. The vibe is deliberately informal: post-run drinks at neighborhood bars, seasonal breakfast runs, beach volleyball on summer evenings. Friendships form as naturally as the weekly routes. This is running stripped of pretense, where your time matters far less than whether you showed up and felt part of something real.
Unknown Running Club launched in March 2025 when brothers Riccardo and Alberto, alongside Antonella, decided to map the forgotten edges of Alto Milanese. The northern Milan suburbs held stories the city center couldn't tell: reclaimed industrial sites, hidden trails, pockets of wild green caught between concrete. What started as three people exploring those spaces has grown into a community that runs not to race but to belong. Their centaur logo carries the message: strength paired with renewal. Monthly runs dissolve into shared breakfasts, yoga sessions, and long walks where the pace slows and friendships deepen. For Unknown Running Club, a run is never just cardio. It's archaeology. It's permission to look closer at home.
