All are welcome - young, old, fast, slow, short, tall - to participate in this great community 5K run and 2 mile walk! The Thad Davis Memorial 5K is a fund raising event planned by the AC Alumni Association and AC Cross Country Team. Proceeds from registration and sponsorships go to support the AC Alumni Scholarship program and to support boys and girls cross country and track teams at AC. The 5k race and 2 mile walk will take place on an awesome (relatively flat!) course around the streets of Amanda, OH. Post-race features cold drinks, fruit & other snacks, awards presentation and door prizes!

Awards

Kids Fun Run: All runners will receive a participation award.

5K race only: Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall Male and Female winners. Age group awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age category. Age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

    The following will receive custom batons specific to our race:

    • Whichever team finishes first (one per person)

    Team / Group Registration

    The team price is $250 for which you can register up to 10 members. The team captain can create the team without registering. (go to the top menu, click on the group/teams item.)

    When the first person registers they will pay $250. The team captain can create the team and pay the team fee straight away. Once the first member has been registered, the next team members from 2 to 10 can register on the team and it will not charge team. Team captains when you create your team, create a strong password but also one that your team members will be able to remember.

    Sign up for the 19th annual Dr. Bender 5K Classic! This year's race again has in-person and virtual options for participation. Those who wish to participate in person can do so on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, at Canal Winchester High School. Race morning will consist of our traditionally fast and competitive 5K race, as well as separate Girls and Boys 1 Mile Fun Runs (suggested for ages 12 & under). A virtual 5K event will also be available for those who are not able or choose not to participate in the in-person race.     The Roundtown Classic is an annual fundraising event for the Circleville High School Alumni Association. Established in 2005, this organization promotes activities of the Circleville City Schools including scholarships. CHS Alumni is a not-for-profit 501 C3 organization.

    The race will be Saturday, July 18th, 2026 at 8am. The start and finish will be in front of Circleville High School and the course will be around the campus and on the neighboring Roundtown Trail. We are still offering a Virtual option in the 5K and 5 Mile that can be completed 7/18/26 - 7/25/26.

    Packet pick-up & registration will be available in front of Circleville High School Friday, July 17th from 4pm-7pm and Saturday, July 18th before the race from 6:30am-7:45am.

    Entry Fees:

    $10 - just the race signup for the Virtual 5K or Virtual 5 Mile

    $20 - receive shirt and medal with Virtual registration

    (if shipping is required it will be an additional $7)

    $30 - in person 5K or 5 Mile race registration (includes shirt and medal)

    $35 - Race Day Registration
