Thunderhawk Wide Open Event Description

Gather at John Lopez’s Famous Kokomo Inn Gallery & Sculpture Garden and roll out down Lemmon’s Main Street. Ride through North Dakota, South Dakota and the Standing Rock Reservation. Travel over remote gravel roads, rugged minimum maintenance roads and prairie two-track trails. Experience Wide-Open spaces that will tempt even the most serious racers to pause and enjoy the ride. Finish riding down Main Street to the sound of the crowd, cowbells, live music and the view of the finish line. Find a Shady spot in the Kokomo Sculpture garden and relax. Enjoy Saint Larry's oak wood fire smoked barbacoa tacos (made from locally raised bison) and wash it down with a frosty Lost Cabin Beer and live music. Hang out and cheer on other riders as they finish and experience the Thunderhawk Wide Open Festival and art fair featuring local artists. If you’re into Wide-Open spaces, local culture, rich western history, art and live music you'll love the Thunderhawk Wide Open!
