Lewisburg Sprint Triathlon

The Watsontown JesVic 5K was started in 2007 by Shannon (Hoffman) Pyles and Suzie (Wade) Watts to honor two community women, Jessica Wade and Vicki Hitesman, who both passed away from cancer. Jessica was a blue-eyed, athletic 20-year-old, a graduate of Warrior Run High School, who pursued a college degree. Among her many goals was to run a marathon someday. The other—a former nurse who touched the lives of the patients and their families from her early days at Williamsport Hospital and Kramm’s Nursing Home. She was a survivor of Hodgkin’s disease. Her youngest son played baseball, her oldest ran cross country at Warrior Run. Vicki and her husband (who is also a runner) supported the cross-country team, and all their sons’ endeavors.

Both had touched the lives of those in their community and in their workplace. We hope this race will continue that legacy.

The money raised supports local families with members facing disease and struggling with the resulting medical bills. In its first 15 years, the 5K has raised more than $60,000 with the support of sponsor businesses, donations, volunteers, runners, walkers, spectators and friends. The JesVic organizers, and those supported by the funds, are forever grateful.

Join us on Saturday, June 20 2026 at 10:30am for an exciting new event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Spyglass on the Ridge Winery! Tucked away in the rolling hills of central PA, this beautiful location started as a family farm and a dream grew this property into a winery, a restaurant, a concert venue and an event hall. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Join us for a 1-mile fun run/walk to kick off Watsontown's 4th of July celebrations. The race starts at E 11th Street (near old Warrior Run Elementary) at 9am. You'll head down Main Street to the Watsontown Park entrance. After the race, stay for the parade and events in the park.

The race is open to all ages and abilities, with a 30-minute limit to complete the mile. Families are welcome! The race is untimed, and medals will be awarded to the first three finishers. Water and snacks will be available at the finish line.

Registration costs $15 for adults (17+), $10 for kids (ages 6-16), and is free for kids five and under (no race shirt for kids five and under). All proceeds support the Watsontown 4th of July celebration fund.

The Dandelion Trail Run is a friendly entry-level race offering both 5K and 10K options, held to benefit Camp Mount Luther. Participants can decide on race day whether to complete a single 5K loop or tackle the 10K by running a double loop of the 5K course. There is a water stop at the 5k mark for 10k runners. Named in memory of Rev. Glenn Heasley, who had a fondness for dandelions, this run celebrates his spirit in a beautiful, natural setting.

Kids Fun Run! The age groups are 6 and under and 7 – 10. Special awards will be presented to every participant in the fun run.

Awards for top two male and female finisher for each distance immediately following the race. Finisher awards for all finishers.

You must be registered by midnight, August 16th to receive a tech shirt!

There will be no changing of race distance after the race starts. If you registered for the 10k and aren't sure you can finish it on race day, please inform us and change to the 5k prior to race start. 10k runners who stop after one loop will be listed as DNF.
