a 15, 30, or 45-mile route through the beautiful area of New Bedford, Massachusetts followed by a post-ride Beer Festival! Bikes & Beers NEW BEDFORD is the area's premier cycling event departing from CISCO BREWERS and traveling the scenic roads of South Coast, MA. All rides feature morning fuel stations, marked routes, GPS turn-by-turn instruction, rest stops, refreshments, ride marshals, and SAG support. Finish back at CISCO BREWERS for a beer festival atmosphere of rewarding craft beers, live music, a charity raffle & much more!

the past couple of years, we have dropped USAT sanction to save non-licensed racers from having to pay the $15 one-day license.

This is an unsanctioned race - NO LICENSE REQUIRED!
Please don't make us have to change your category to make you race your peers, because we'll do it in
an embarrassing way.
The Deal
The venue is the really cool one that Crosstobeerfest is at except most of the course is on the other side, where it's too dark for a night race. There are trails, ups, downs, berms, run-ups, run-downs, logs, man-eating squirrels, etc.
We also have music, craft beer, and a food truck so there will be no reason to leave after your race. Unless you race in the last race, you'll then have to go home after you race.

The Donut Madison Relay
The last "race" is the Donut Madison Relay. We'll shorten the course down to only include the wooded section that's near the Start/Finish. Teams of two will relay race. The "waiting" racer will consume an entire donut when his/her partner returns before starting their lap, and so on. This event is the final party of the day and is 20 minutes of hilarity.
One person registers both team members. The other team member needs to complete their registration via an email that gets sent. Don't forget!

If you have to ask what category you should register in you are probably a NOVICE. If you always win by a significant margin or have at any time worn special stripes then you are an ELITE. If you know your USAC category then consult that, unofficially.
