  COURSE DESCRIPTION:

  This race is a figure eight run on gravel road, technical dirt single track, and the historic flume trail. It's called a 10k, but the actual distance is closer to a 12k, 7.5 miles. Elevation gain is close to 1200', most of which is packed into the first half of the race. Conserve energy early so you can finish hard in the flats.

  Directions: From Rapid City, drive westbound on US16 to Rockerville (approx. 9 miles from Catron Blvd). Immediately after passing Rockerville turn right on Silver Mountain Road. Trailhead and start of race are ¼ mile off US16. Trailhead is small, so please carpool if possible.

It features a 100-mile race, a 50-mile race, a 30-mile race, a 20-mile race, and a 30-mile Black Hills CrossFit Edition - Singles, 3, and 6 person relays. The course is held on the George S. Mickelson Trail.
