Ranger Regiment Music on the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Date: February 14, 2026 Start time 8:00 am (1 Mile Fun Run) 8:30 am (5K). Packet pickup begins at 7:00 am

Race Courses: Both distances will begin and end in Chisholm Trail High School's Ranger Stadium. The 1 Mile Fun Run is an untimed run from the stadium to the band hall. The 5K is a timed race that will leave the stadium, pass the band hall and school, and continue on the Marine Creek Lake trail.

Registration Includes: Run-themed t-shirt (shirt not guaranteed if registering after January 16), live music by the Ranger Regiment band, photos by our Ranger Regiment photographers, and hot chocolate and refreshments at the finish line.

Raffle for Registered 5K Participants: One 5K participant will win a $300 Planet Fitness Black Card Membership, donated by Planet Fitness Saginaw-a proud sponsor of the Chisholm Trail HS Ranger Regiment Band.     Kids Dash:

    Our little Yeti’s big moment! About 50 meters of pure fun for kids 10 & under.

    1 Mile Fun Run:

    Perfect for all ages. Untimed, fun, and full of 80’s spirit. Includes tee and finisher medal.

    5K (3.11 miles):

    Chip-timed event with overall and age-group awards, including special recognition for Masters (40+).

    Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles):

    Chip-timed race with overall Bigfoot trophies, Masters pins, and age-group awards.

    Half Marathon (13.1 miles):

    Chip-timed course with Bigfoot trophies for top finishers, Masters recognition, and full age-group awards.

    All finishers receive a race medal and shirt — no matter the distance!

    Water Station

    Keep cups filled and cheer on runners! Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.

    Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.

    Course Monitors

    Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!

    Rating: Fun, exciting — right in the action.

    Finish Line Helper

    Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.

    Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.

    Turtle / Sweeper

    Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.

    Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.

    Packet Pickup / Results

    Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.

    Rating: Busy before start, fun and relaxed after. Set the tone for the day!

    Floater

    🏞️ Course Info

    Courses are held on paved trails and park paths, with some mixed surfaces possible (crushed granite or dirt). Aid stations will be available with water and support to keep you hydrated and safe.

    Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).

    Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads. You may encounter park users such as dog walkers or families with strollers. Please be courteous and aware.

    Welcome to the 4th Annual Navy 10 Miler, hosted by NAS JRB Fort Worth, the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.

    The base dates back nearly 80 years; but, this is our 3rd annual 5 and 10-mile event open to anyone who registers. This event provides you the opportunity to see the many aircraft that are stationed aboard the installation. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just getting started, the Navy 10 Miler will provide you with an unforgettable running experience.

    SERIOUS FUN

    Geared for both experienced and novice runners, this flat 5 & 10 mile course will provide an excellent opportunity to SHATTER PRs and will be clearly marked with water stations along the way. The 5 miler provides the same air power excitement as the 10 miler in a smaller package! In the fans’ section, we’ll have a finisher festival featuring a variety of vendors and food trucks. Everyone is sure to have a good time!

    The Navy 10 Miler is hosted by NAS JRB Fort Worth’s Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) team. MWR provides a variety of services and programs on base to support the mission of the service members.
