Cactus Rose Endurance Trail Race

The ONLY Warrior Obstacle Course for kids ages 4-12 in town and YOU are invited!

The Guardian Run is a thrilling, high-octane, warrior-style dash through trying obstacles. Courses designed for both smaller and taller kids will test their grit and endurance. Contestants will be rewarded afterwards with food, music and inflatable fun to celebrate after the Fundraiser.

This Run is not only FUN but it is also for a great cause.

RACE DATES: OCTOBER 23-25, 2026.

No whiners, wimps, or wusses.

This is a rugged trail running race that was designed to test runners.

The course can go by quickly because of it's picturesque views; technical climbs and descents; and fun terrain.

But be careful looking at the scenery too long, you might end up face first in a cactus.

Please understand this race does not have our usual full spread aid stations and volunteers...on purpose.

We have medical staff, but you are required to be able to handle your own needs out on the course.

Cactus Rose is capped at 500 total runners for all distances.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 9, 2027

• HOKA Bandera 100k is on Saturday, January 9-10, 2027.

• HOKA Bandera Non-Competitive 50k is on Saturday, January 9, 2027. (Runners who complete the Bandera 50K SATURDAY, will not be eligible for overall awards, but will receive their prized HOKA Bandera Endurance Trail Run Medal when they finish.)

SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, 2027

• HOKA Bandera 50k and 25k are both on Sunday, January 10, 2027.

SWAG DETAILS

• While every racer will get some cool swag, December 1 is the deadline to get a shirt. If you register after 12/1, you will get some cool Race Swag. This could be a trucker hat, neck gaiter, cool water bottle, past year's race shirt, etc. It will be a great Swag Item.
