The CLEO Institute’s Race for our Future Earth Day 5K

Climate change threatens everything on our planet.

CLEO is fighting to protect the people and places we love… but we can’t do it without you.

This Earth Day 5K supports fearless education, fearless advocacy, fearless empowerment, and fearless protection for the planet we share.

    Every registration will:

    • Empower Resilient Women by training women in underserved communities to prepare for and recover from extreme weather, with tools for food security and home resilience.

    • Expand genCLEO’s Youth Network by mobilizing the next generation of climate leaders who are already shaping policy and community change across Florida... and soon, across the nation.

    • Advance Climate Advocacy & Campaigns by turning apathy into action and awareness into policy wins, from extreme heat protection to energy justice.

    • Build Climate-Resilient Schools by engaging students and teachers through hands-on climate education and civic action.

That’s why we’re fearlessly moving forward - running, walking, or even skipping to the finish line and beyond.

Get ready to race at FOTA’s 2026 Wild Transplant Adventure Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 2nd at Zoo Miami.

How does it work? You can join us in the morning at Zoo Miami for a 2-mile fun race through the park before it opens to the public and celebrate National Donate Life Month in our private event field. We’ll have your t-shirt and medal on race day, alongside refreshments, photo booth, music and games. Plus, your in-person registration includes access to Zoo Miami admission for the day!

Or, you may choose to walk anywhere (on a treadmill, around your neighborhood or any course of your choice) on that Saturday to join us from afar. We will send your race t-shirt and medal, plus you can download a personalized bib, so you’ve got your transplant swag before and after your race.

Registration is $40…or FREE! Participants can fundraise for special prizes, and if you raise $100 in support from friends/family, we automatically refund your registration and you walk/run for FREE!

Let's stay connected through FOTA’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/florgantransplant.org) and using hashtag, #FOTARuns. Let’s get active and social together, so lace up your sneakers and join the movement!
