Proceeds from the race will go directly to the The Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary (FHPA). The FHPA is a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to support public safety, foster strong community relationships, and provide operational assistance to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Race Timing

This race is being chip timed and produced by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive live results with an individual results page that is complete with your pace breakdown, results, finisher certificate and a 20 second video of each participant crossing the start and finish line!

Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms (dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech, and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.

While the event honors the swift with awards for the top 3 male and female overall finishers and winners across various age groups, the most coveted prize goes to the "Average Joe" and "Average Jane." In a fun twist, the person who finishes exactly in the middle of the pack is crowned the ultimate champion, proving that you don't have to be the fastest to take home the top honors.

About

This event is a fundraiser dedicated to assisting those with Mixed-Connective Tissue Disease (MCDT) and other autoimmune conditions through our parent organization, Women of H.OP.E. Our mission began with a heart to provide those with MCTD hair prothesis, due to one of the symptoms being hair loss. That has extended to medical assistance, care, and emotional support. If you or someone you know is facing an autoimmune condition, Women of H.O.P.E. is here to lend a hand. Why Join

Your registration helps us to provide assistance, hair prosthesis, and in aiding those with MCTD to receive the care they need.

We invite you to run or walk at our certified course at Miramar Regional Park. Race t-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 300 registrants. Shirt sizes allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and not guaranteed.

Virtual Race Option

The virtual race can be done on your own time and at your own pace. The only requirement is to email a screenshot of your logged miles from your running app of choice and we'll mail your t-shirt and medal! Send by email to [email protected]
