The Inaugural

Greek Peak Running Festival

A celebration of trails and family fun!

Whether you are a seasoned trail runner or a first-timer, you’ll find adventure waiting on the slopes with courses that weave through scenic woodland paths and tackle heart-pumping hill climbs. These trails are designed to be a fun challenge for every skill level, pushing your limits while rewarding you with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The festival is a true family affair, offering something for everyone from the youngest sprinters to the most competitive athletes. Beyond the finish line, the mountain resort transforms into a playground where you can keep the adrenaline going on the mountain coaster or cool off at the indoor waterpark.

Legendary "Après-Race" Hospitality

When the running is done, the celebration moves to the base of the mountain. Grab a local craft beer and a great meal at Trax Pub & Grill, where the massive outdoor deck provides the perfect spot to relax and swap stories about the hills you just conquered.

He fought fires as courageously as he fought stage 4 lung cancer. Captain Buzzy succumbed to his job related cancer on February 7, 2024.

One of his true passions in life was being a competitive athlete. He was an avid runner and canoeist. He helped coordinate and certify many races, and initiated the Cortland Pumpkin Run.

Please join us on Saturday, June 20th, while we celebrate and honor the life of Captain Michael “Buzzy” Andersen. Help spread awareness to the silent killers firefighters face everyday.

Chris' Run offers both a 5K and a 10K. The 5K starts at the Cincinnatus Town Park on NYS Route 26 and is an out and back course. The 10K is a loop that starts on the bridge (walking distance from the park) and has the same finish line as the 5K at the park. The 5K is fairly flat and the 10K has some gently rolling hills. Please join us for either race. It's a great way to kick off the holiday weekend.

Proceeds from Chris' Run are used to help the youth in our community make healthy choices about diet and exercise. We also promote the don't drink and drive message.
