NorthCloud Whangārei Half Marathon

The Whangārei Half Marathon features a range of event options, including the Half Marathon, an 8.9km run/walk , and a 4.4km fun run/walk.

The Half Marathon course highlights some of Whangārei’s most impressive scenery, taking participants past sweeping harbour and coastal views, through the Town Basin Sculpture Garden, and across both the Te Matau A Pohe Bridge and Kotuitui Whitinga Footbridge. With drink stations available approximately every 3km and entertainment dotted along the route, the course offers both challenge and atmosphere.

Prefer a shorter distance? The 8.9km and 4.4km options provide an accessible and enjoyable way to experience the beauty of the Hātea Loop, a route that continues to be a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.

September is World Alzheimers Month and your chance to show your support for people and their whānau living with dementia mate wareware in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Memory Walks help us to remember our loved ones, show support for our families, raise awareness for Alzheimers Northland and can help us to generate much needed funds. It’s also a great way to honour our family and community members that have been or are affected by dementia. Memory Walks are for all ages and abilities…
