Age Group Categories based on <24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Important Pre-Race Details:

• Stretch Session: Join us 20 minutes before the race for a group stretching session to get warmed up!

• Registration Reminder: If you haven’t registered yet, please make sure to do so before the race begins!

The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is proud to host the third annual Ringling Bridge Run — a community tradition across the iconic Ringling Bridge. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing the whole family for the fun run, there’s something for everyone. Participants can choose from the 5K, 10K, or family fun run. Proceeds benefit the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, a nonprofit that supports public school teachers and students in Sarasota County with programs that prepare students to get ready and go further.

Your 5k/10k registration fee includes a shirt and a finisher medal. Walkers and strollers are welcome but we kindly ask that you start and stay behind the runners for safety reasons.

10K Start Time: 7:00 am

5K Start Time: 7:30 am

Family Fun Run Start Time: 8:00 am

Ringling Bridge Traffic: Throughout the race, traffic will flow in both directions. Between 6-10am, the east-bound side of the bridge will be open for two-way traffic and the west-bound side will be closed to provide safe crossing for race participants, guided by the Sarasota Police Department.

The 11th Annual SUP & RUN 5K presented by Charles Schwab or Sarasota event will be held at Nathan Benderson Park to benefit RUCK9 (www.RUCK9.com)

The SUP & RUN 5K gives athletes three great races in one to choose from.

• 5K RUN

• 5K Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) OR

• 5K SUP & 5K RUN

(There is a start line mat (chip) for the combination SUP & RUN)

Athletes participating in the combination SUP & RUN will run the 5K first and then hop on their paddle board for a 5K paddle around Nathan Benderson Park. The SUP & RUN 5K draws top runners and SUP'ers who compete for cash prizes but it's our not-so-serious athletes who have the most prominent place in the event.

Athletes participating in the SUP portion of the race MUST know how to swim. If you are not able to swim, you may not participate in the SUP portion.

The SUP & RUN 5K is a family style event.

WALKERS ARE WELCOME and encouraged to attend.

This is a fun run, it will not be chipped or timed.

Entry Fee: FREE! Open to runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities. Children, families and dogs welcome!

After the run, the celebration continues with beer, food, and all sorts of other goodies.

Life;Story is Centerstone’s national walk/run for suicide prevention, bringing communities together across Illinois, Tennessee, and Florida for a day of hope, healing, and connection.

Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome—from seasoned runners to families with strollers, toddlers in the kids’ races, and pups on leashes. Whether you join us in person or virtually, you’ll be part of a meaningful experience that uplifts those impacted by suicide and celebrates the courage it takes to keep going.
